About Amway Center
Amway Center is a multipurpose venue located in Orlando, Florida. The venue was opened in the year 2010 and is owned by the City of Orlando. Amway Center regularly hosts basketball, arena football, ice hockey, WWE and live entertainment. In 2012 it hosted the NBA All-Star Game. The arena, being able to accommodate up to 20,000 visitors, is currently home to NBA’s Orlando Magic and AFL’s Orlando Predators. Amway Center in fact has over 1,100 digital monitors and one of the largest high-definition scoreboards in an NBA venue.
Tickets for games and events can be purchased online via Ticketmaster or at the Box Office. Visitors can also browse the seating maps to know where their seat is located. If buying tickets at the venue, the Box Office it is located on Church Street and is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Tickets can be purchased by cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Those needing wheelchair assistance or help with accessible restrooms, can reach the Guest Services staff. As for parking, visitors can access the pre-paid parking lots in GEICO Garage (400 West South St.) and Church Street Garage.
Interested in premium seating? You have a wide array of options at the Founders Suites, Presidents Suites, Courtside Seating, Loge Seating, Chase Suites, MVP Tables, Hospitality Suites and Club Seats. The suites come with benefits that include premium parking, lounge area, plush seats, in-seat catering, among others. The Loge Seating has seats located close to the action. It also includes premium parking and in-seat food service.
Note that guests are prohibited from bringing large bags, outside food/beverages, coolers, laptops, drugs, cycles, laser pointers, pets, noisemakers, selfie sticks, tripods, video/audio recorders, and any item that might be deemed inappropriate. I like the performances at amyway center but the Security at amyway are taking safety precautions too extreme and being way over the top and they need to let people bring their water cause water is earth’s best friend and maybe not everyone doesn’t feel like paying $5 for water when it should be free. They need to change their set of rules where as people can bring large backpacks cause you got families with four and five kids and babies that need food.
