I purchased a gourmet double oven from you and one thing after another has let me down first 2 of the knobs have broken the handle for the grille pan is dangerous pan kept falling of so now don’t use handle then the heater element in oven stopped working them the element in the grille is now hanging down on one side and finally the fan in oven has stopped working really disappointed.
I bought an frost free standing AEG Fridge & a freezer each in 2015. The freezer has been having issues with over freezing from the 4th month & makes this big bang noise which can scare you in the middle of the night ( on 3 occasions we have lost so much food due to it & have never claimed for it)& has been looked into it a few times and after minute repairs a senior engineer who came after being called again with the same problem identified the problem and replaced the fan & assured me everything will be hunky dory. after just 7 months in the 3rd year the freezer has overfreezed and stopped working. I have requested them to resolve the issue once and for all rather than repeatedly getting it looked into. The customer service people are polite & ask you if they can help you but unfortunately there is only assurance given to go ahead with repairs.
Can customer service please ring me on 01403 211156 as I have been holding on for over 40 mins waiting to get through to an advisor.
Many thanks
I have bought a fridge SKS81826ZC, which is now fitted and ready to go. However I find the user manual very unhelpful as there is no diagram showing me which area is which, or what the ideal layout/usage would be. For example, is the Longfresh compartment (singular) the same as the 3 drawers (plural)? Any diagram labelling which bit is which would be better than nothing.
In June 2016 I purchased a gas cooker from curry’s/pc world.
At the time it came with a offer of £75 cash back offer.
After sending off all relevant details that were asked for l waited for the offer to be completed, I am still waiting.
This is the only site I have found where I can leave a comment so if this is the wrong place I apologise
in 2013 I purchased a new double oven with induction hob (493321-MN) within 3 months the bottom oven door seal was useless ,shortly after the bottom oven door fell off and 6 months later it fell off again, then after 30months the bottom oven light socket blew and rendered the oven inoperative until fixed then today 13/12/19 the hob switched itself off and fault codes F17 & F18 appeared ,cooker was isolated from power source for 10 minutes before restarting but found main oven which normally reaches 200 in around 12-15 minutes took 35 minutes I think AEG stands for Awful Electrical Goods
I am unsure if I am posting in the right place but I’d like to let you know that my washing machine, an AEG Lavamat 50435 has been superb. I bought it in December 2000 and it has never malfunctioned or needed any new parts in 16 years. I think that is quite amazing in this throwaway age! I would like to update my kitchen but I am reluctant to do so until my current machine stops working! Needless to say, I will be replacing it with another AEG when the time comes.
I am looking to furnish my new kitchen with appliances procured from a country with 220-240/60Hz for use in another country with 220-240V/50Hz. The appliances include refrigerators and others with electric motors. Please advise if there is anything to worry about or how best to go about. Thank you.
