Very bad service. We ere checked in yesterday till flight is not scheduled saying engineering problem. No response No one pick the phone.
Many of them with families are staying in the hotel and different places.
No support from them the staff.
Your customer care is Zero particularly on Holidays. Don’t think that you are providing free service to the people. It is high time for Air India to show that they care the customers too.
More than two and half years I am traveling air India AI-907 & AI 908 frequently Chennai to Muscat & Muscat to Chennai, Still both ends not takeoff or landing, exact time, very worst service, so many suggestion form given but no use, Indian mentality. I have to change to Oman air.
Your customer service is as pathetic as your aircraft.
Everyone in this country should jointly boycott your airline till you people start providing better amenities on the aircraft and start answering your phones.
Why can’t you take an example from other more younger airlines and learn,say Qatar or Oman air.
When will you start changing things? You are a disgrace to our country.

We are trying continuously to MUSCAT airport customer care number from last two days to get small information that is there any advance check-in possibiliities due to summer vacation rush at airport? In general they used to do this during peak days.. But no one picks the call and no one taking care on customer care number…. we are trying to travel from our own country airline services eventhough good facilities and customer care services providing by other airline services (Oman Air..etc.).. Really very very poor service… JAAGO AIR INDIA…JAAGO

Please let me know i can i change my flight timing as i am flying from MUSCAT To Delhi and Delhi to PATNA and the timing is Night 11:35 to 3.25 and from delhi 13.00 and it will reach Patna at14:35 i want to change the flight and get the Morning flight that is 7.15am

My father in law came to muscat first time in air india flight from ahmedabad. He has lost one of his luggage in muscat airport..we have been trying to get in touch with air india office in airpot but no response form them and whenever we go it is closed and no one picks the phone mentioned..what a poor service.
Why doesn’t Air India answer calls ? Is it too much to expect them to answer calls?? This is the most customer hostile airline that I have come across, and to think of it they call it “customer care” number !!!
I have been trying to call and speak to someone in your office regarding this, However no body seems to answer any call… Anyways, i hope that you will get back to my e mail with a solution. I would like to get a reconfirmation on the amount of baggage allowed per person flying on the Muscat to Hyderabad sector in the economy class. and another question is that we need to cancel our visa and then leave the country for good, how soon can we come at the airport for the check in as these days the visa cancelation takes a lot of time…
I have booked air ticket through online service using debit (visa) card from Coimbatore to Muscat.Electronic ticket no is 0982103944431. I have received two mails out of which one is subjected as fulfilment and the other as booking, but the number of tickets booked is only one. The amount deducted is for two. When enquired with bank in muscat, they told that the amount (OR 116.267) must have been held with air india as blocked.
Kindly check and release the amount to my account as soon as possible.
I purchased 3 tickets on 13/5/2012 from Muscat to Ranchi (Jharkhand-India) using my bank Muscat Debit Card. The amount was debited the same day from the account. To my utter surprise the same amount was again debited from my account on 15/5/2012. I sent email to [email protected] on 15/5/2012 and again reminded on 16/5/2012 but no response has been received. Bank has said that they can help only if AirIndian gives in writting that it was double claimed by them.
Now in complete fix as my amount has been debited from my account. I am in complete fix. They are cheaters. Thinking of lodging a case in the Economic Offence Wing of Maharashtra Police/ Ministry of Home, Govt. of India.
Planning to claim a rs 1o Lakh compensation.

I bought e- ticket on 4th april 2012 from muscat to chennai to and fro using my wife bank muscat debit card for 2 children and 3 adults. My e-ticket no are 0982100269761 to 65. And the money was deducted same day. But later we found that it was once again deducted (twice), when i called the bank regarding this, they asked me to refer to the airindia. I am trying to call the airport office since afternoon (24521359, 254510737). But no response since afternoon, kindly do the needful.
Travelling from MUSCAT to DELHI by AI 974 23:00 to 03:25 (DEL). Separate flight (AI 445) from DEL to LEH is therenext day at 05:45. Can I catch the connecting flight, as terminals are unknown? Can get single ticket from Muscat to leh via Delhi (change of flight at del.).
Air India services are very very POOR! Calling their customer service doesn’t work at all especially in Muscat office. All contact details given just keep ringing. Indian services really sucks!

My son missed LX 243 flight for Dubai and onwards, what is present status of the traveler and what facility your airlines has provided for his accommodation and further journey.
Be specific. Did your son miss the flight due to being late in his scheduled departure or airline cancelled its scheduled flight???
If the Airline company missed or cancelled it’s flight scheduled or delayed for sometime, food and accommodation shall be provided by the airline company.
BUT, if your son missed due to late coming on the specified time of check-in or departure, then no airline is responsible; Unless your son is a VIP for the airline!

I have ticket from Muscat to Hyd by AI978 for 24/08/2011. The ticket is booked by me on-line and the PNR is Z6WHC. Do I need to reconfirm the booking!! Please advise and help.

you can confirm your ticket if needed from the website..but I think it is confirmed when booked..
