Gumtree removed my ad. How to contact them is another story, there is no option to edit the ad but one thing they don’t forget is getting the payment off they go.
Hopeless at communication. I had a seller take my money but not supply the item. Tried several times to conract Gumtree but they never respond.
No way to contact gumtree Australia. Clicking on contact and email (in app and on website) just directs me to help pages which directs me to contact page which directs me to help pages. Annoying and frustrating as I have two scam buyers to need to report.
Gumtree let me put an ad up and charged me £16.99…within minutes they blocked my ad and took my money. I have tried emailing Gumtree but they don’t ever reply back and they have taken my money.
Same happened with me, I paid £47 to place an add with all the added exposure. Gumtree removed the ad as I had used a word they believed is not suitable. Site does not let you edit to remove the word. They took my money immediately from my Bank account and have not refunded me. Impossible to contact them. Tried various numbers I googled, various e-mails to no avail.
Gumtree have removed my ad several times over the last few years for no reason. They take my payment but don’t refund it. I have tried to get a refund back and an explanation but it’s impossible to get through to them and when you do they won’t give an answer. I tried to post an ad recently again and the same thing happened. They took £34.99 but removed my ad straight away. How can they do this?
I have been trying to contact gumtree after a mobility scooter I purchased was clearly faulty advert stated it had new battery it clearly does not the wiring is also faulty. I cannot contact gumtree at all with regards to this matter. I paid £250 for this scooter and is not suitable for what I purchased it for.
I was scammed out of £600. My fault. Ad was immediately closed. Contacted Gumtree for help with details for police report and any other help they could offer. No reply but they deleted all the Gumtree mail conversations I had with the baddies.
The same happened to me today. They said money was in my PayPal but would not show till I gave the 50 Amazon gift card….the emails I got from PayPal were realistic but I sussed it out .rang paypal and they said no money had been payed in. Been trying to get in touch with gumtree to inform them of this but can’t find away to contact them.
There was a Nintendo switch I wanted to buy. We messaged each other and come to a deal the night before. The next day I texted but then the seller stopped replying. I went to the address given but it was an empty house. I recommend you investigate this for scam purposes. Note I waited 40 mins in total from arrival to depart the address. This is wrong and not the way to do business
