I recently stayed at a days inn in Houston off of north freeway…it’s was horrible…the room had holes in the wall…the bathtub had mildew….the staff was rude…we had watery oatmeal and bolied eggs as a complimentary breakfast…the guys wanted us to pay him extra money so he could pocket it…never again will I book them
My mother was burned out of her home just a few days ago, the insurance agent took her to the Days Inn located in Dartmouth Nova Scotia; on Highfield Ave. She has been insulted by the staff on numerous occasions. I personally witnessed one incident where she was bawled out like a child and accused of smoking in a non-smoking room and charged an extra Day’s stay. She is also being charged over $100.00 a night, because she is in a wheelchair! Talk about discrimination! The Staff have been rude and ignorant constantly. One time a Staff member opened her door to a complete stranger, because this street person claimed she knew her. I have never seen the likes of this in my entire life! I am moving her out of there tomorrow to a Motel 8. Where the cost per night is only $70.00. Which includes a small fridge and a microwave oven. The room at the Days Inn is filthy dirty. The carpeting has numerous cigarette burns and they’ve cleaned the room once in 3 Days! I would strongly suggest that something be done about this situation, otherwise I will blog this all over the internet. I will not stand idlely by while these incompetent people insult a handicapped person who just happens to be My Mother!!!
