About Conviasa
Conviasa is the national carrier of Venezuela that began operations in the year 2004. The airline, with a fleet of close to 30 aircraft, operates from its main hub at Simón BolÃvar International Airport . Flying to some 22 destinations, Conviasa is managed and owned by the Ministry of Aquatic and Air Transport.
Destinations covered by Conviasa include Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Dominica, Grenada, Nicaragua, Panama, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, among others. Within Venezuela, the airline has a network that covers Barcelona, Barinas, Cabimas, Caracas, Coro, El Vigia, La Fria, Las Piedras, Maracaibo, Maturin, Porlamar, Puerto Ayacucho, Puerto Ordaz, Santo Domingo and Valera. The airline has its headquarters at MaiquetÃa.
