Ankara Metro is a rapid transit system serving the capital of Turkey, Ankara. It began operations in the year 1996 and connects to more than 45 stations. Locally known as Ankara Metrosu, the rapid transit annually carries more than 100 million passengers. The metro operates from 6am to midnight 12am.
