The global economic landscape has undergone significant changes over the years. While many industries came to a veritable standstill, it was the retail industry that not only survived but also thrived. The retail sector has always been a key player in the growth of any country’s economy. Keeping the momentum of growth going in the US is the National Retail Federation (NRF), the world’s largest retail trade association.

Every year the NRF organizes the Retail’s BIG Show, an event that brings together retailers, vendors, and industry experts. It is an umbrella group that represents more than 100 associations of state, national and international retailers. The first meeting in fact took place in 1911 when the National Retail Dry Goods Association (NRDGA) was formed. Since then the convention and expo continues to be organised to support the retail sector which is undoubtedly the largest private-sector employer that contributes $3.9 trillion to annual GDP of the United States.
