I am having a terrible experience with trying to confirm a reservation (been on hold for 42 minutes, at this point), your website for Marriott Rewards, and with the call in line specifically dedicated to the Starwood security breach. None are working well. The individual with whom I spoke regarding the security breach actually said to me, “I don’t work for Marriott. I work for company they hired to answer certain questions and that is all I know.” I know this is a call center given certain information, but to pass the buck like that. I hope Marriott / Starwood knows the quality it is getting for its payment to this call center!
We stayed at the Fairfield in Corpus Christi, and had a horrible experience. The telephone, internet, and television did not work in our room, and the elevator was pitch black inside. I have been trying to find a customer service number to lodge a complaint. The fact that I can not find one speaks volumes about this hotel chain. I will ever stay at a Marriott hotel or any of it’s subsidiaries again. Does anyone have a number?
I had a horrible experience with Customer Care today. Then from Omaha Nebraska. He was even yelling at me, refused to give me his last name and refused to transfer me to his Supervisor or even someone else who could help me. I hope that call was recorded!!!!!
I wish to commend three individuals who work at the Marriott Riverwalk in San Antonio Tx. They are Karen, Marie and Vila (Not sure of the name). These three individuals went out of their way to ensure that our stay was everything that Marriott promises. Please commend them on their work as it is much appreciated by my wife and I. Thank you.
I stayed at Marriott Hotel on June 29th 2012 with a late checkout in Medan Indonesia. My business group was a group of nine people all staying at the hotel. We ate all of our meals at the Marriott on the 29 and 30th and checked out at 6:00 pm. Six of our group had to fly back to US from Medan at 8:35PM. At 5:00 PM the first person got food poisoning so severely he could not catch his flight and had to stay in the hotel for two more days. The next person got sick on the way to the airport but decided to fly. I wish I had never gotten on the plane as three of the four remaining got violently ill. (vomiting, fever , chills, nausea, diarrhea, muscle pains). We were almost removed from the plane in Singapore and Frankfort because of how sick we were. It was the worst flight of my life. Not to mention the next day or two. This was no bug or virus, we were still vomiting when we landed at JFK, and since no family members have gotten sick.
Do you have someone in charge of food safety for the Marriott in Medan? If so, you need to send this person for more training. I never saw anyone checking food holding temperatures making sure food is cooked to a safe temperature. When eating the seafood buffet on Friday Night at the Marriott I went to the grill area where you pick your seafood and it is then grilled while you wait. I ordered some shrimp and fish, but only took a couple of bites and noticed the fish was not cooked properly. Everyone in my party got seafood at this station. I’m not saying we got sick from this station, just giving you an example of your food safety issues. We also ate the breakfast buffet together. I understand food safety as I’m a Environmental Health Specialist by trade with a concentration in Food safety. In this county in past jobs I have inspected restaurants. I will say I did quit eating when I realized the may not be properly cooked. Unfortunately this did not stop me from getting sick. I would have expected this in a less prominent hotel restaurant but I expected more from a Marriott.
i’ve been trying to find a phone number or an email for customer service of marriott egypt…could you help?
very poor customer support..the executives talking over phone are very rude..
