With the Shark Tank Auditions and Casting right around the corner, the hit show has attracted millions to go for the auditions, who think they are worth a shot. So many people are already looking for relevant information to understand how they can get on the show and share their products and ideas. Applicants need funding to seed the business, and Shark Tank can be the ultimate game-changer.ย

What do you need to know?
Before you start making attempts to apply for the audition, you need to know certain things. First, if you want to display a product, you will be asked whether you have the patent. If you are planning to go on the show, you should file for a provisional patent to protect your invention. You can file for a provisional patent on the US Patent Office website. You can spare some time to go through online guides, which will make it easy for you to file for the provisional patent. The show is on the lookout for ideas, concepts, products, properties, or services that can stand out potential-wise. If your idea is selected, the tough investors (known as Sharks on the show) could be willing to hand you the funding.

Applying for the audition
There are some eligibility requirements too. If you are thinking of applying, you need to be a US citizen or a legal resident, with no criminal charges pending. You, your family, or anyone living with you should not be an employee of any company, which is connected to the show. This includes Finnmax LLC, UAMG Content, Sony Pictures Television Inc., American Broadcasting Companies, Inc., or any company owned by any Shark.ย

Apply online or go for an open call
There were two ways to get on the show. You can apply online, or you could have attended an open call. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has marred the open casting calls for this season, and all the casting will be done online. You can start by filling an online application form to apply for the audition. You need to be 18 years or older to apply for Shark Tank. If your age is below 18 years, your parents or a legal guardian will have to apply on your behalf. The application form will ask for credentials like name, phone number, name of guardian (if the applicant is minor), gender, state, occupation, business or product name, company website (if applicable), category of your product or business, etc. The casting team of Shark Tank will review all the applications, and if you are selected, you will be contacted by the Shark Tank casting team.
