Copenhagen Airport was founded in the year 1925 and was initially called Kastrup Airport. The airport as a matter of fact is one of the oldest airport in the world. Copenhagen Airport served some 21 million passengers in the year 2010 making it the 21st busiest airport in the world for international passenger traffic. The airport handles about 60 airlines and some 60,000 passengers per day. Last year, 2010, the airport opened a new low cost terminal CPH Go. In total the airport has four terminals.
