We have tried to book seats 48 hours prior to check and the site does not work then tried to telephone no answer just left on hold for 20 on International Calling.
Food is not edible not sure what it was? take your own sandwiches.
The staff are totally useless no idea of travelers requests, just waitresses no training, seatbelts not checked seats not upright prior to landing
Just a nightmare 11 hours, don’t go don’t suffer so badly the arrogance experienced by their office staff was incredibly rude.
We will go back to Emirates or Singapore also cheaper prices. At least we will be able to eat and drink comfortably.
I bought a ticket Sri Lankan airlines from RUH-KUL ON 23 FEB 2017, KUL- RUH ON 18 MARCH 2017. I used my VISA credit card. My visa already deducted by bank to Sri Lankan airlines ltd 1653 SAR.
But I am not getting any email from your side, even any information regarding my ticket such a Booking reference.
Trying book our seats on site, the site is the worse site I’ve every been on, can’t book them can’t even get correct number to speak to them for help, I’m now not looking forward to my flight, if got no faith in the web page to book our seats 48 hrs before we go.
Srilankan misrepresents their product in Business Class
Travellers be AWARE.
Srilankan has videos discribing their business class cabin which looks really very nice.
However most of their aircraft are museum pieces and HAVE NOT been upgraded. So when yoiu purchase a business ticket and expect to have the new cabin with a flat bed,you are faced with an old aircraft with 10 year old seats!
Do NOT FLY SRILANKAN BUSINESS CLASS. It is worse than economy of other airlines.

from Hua a Hin and purchased a ROUND TRIP TICKET. When I went to check in counter for return flight lady Refused to,issue me a return ticket to Bangkok because I did not present a return ticket from Bamgkok to USA! Immigration refused to intervene and I was DENIED TICKET.
My wife and I fly Sri Lankan regularly. I buy my tickets through Taprobane Travel who have provided us excellent service over the years. We have flown to Sri Lanka by many airlines but Sri Lankan is simply the best. The assistance both at Heathrow and Colombo is excellent. The inflight service is superb. We shall fly Sri Lankan every time.

Srilankan Airlines has bad business practices. The are showing the availability of tickets on their web site and on the process of booking online, they are taking money without issuing tickets. If we ask the their customer care regarding the availability of ticket, they are simply saying no tickets are available for next 30 days, at the same time in website tickets are shown as available. Even customer care is worst. They dont assist at all. This is the worst experience. I am losing some $400 making online booking.
Sri Lankan Airlines do not take responsibilty for injury caused by their own crew. Crew and passenger witness and admit incident.10 months of suffer, endless expenses and the only company response is “sorry”.

Sri Lankan Airways needs to improve its service. Flight passengers are served cold food and non veg is served to business class passengers..they lie saying only beg..this is bad..
