I haven’t read a positive comment on Woodspring Suites yet. I met a general manager at the new hotel in Inverness, Florida and was NOT impressed.
I am staying at woodsprings in clarksville TN location. I’ve been here since the 19th of January 2022, I haven’t had hot water not one day since my stay! It is 10-20 degrees outside and When I say something at the desk they brush me away. I’m talking of ice cold water. They say the water heater is down. And they won’t take anything off my bill or refund my money so i can go stay else where. This cooperation should be ashamed!
I am a long term guest at the silversprings location..after more than 3 weeks of my and other guest complaining to the manager Rose about a dogs nonstop barking from 6pm to 6am its now time to start complaining to the online sites about the incompetence of your manager Rose..please hire someone that has some type of an ability that does not involve taking a 15min smoking break every 30 min and if in doubt check your cameras on site..
I had a reservation set for May 14-25th at the WoodSpring Suites Charlotte-Univ Research Park. I was beyond exhausted and was ready to rest for the night. The check in process was okay, but was surprised that I had check out the room before I could finish the registration process. The hallways smelled bad with a mixture of cigarette smoke and the carpets were pretty dirty. The first room had hair in the tub and lugged all of my belongings downstairs and was switched to another room but then the sheets had a hair and the sheets seemed worn and dirty. I didn’t want to move again so I asked if my sheets could be changed. Turns out, I had to change my own sheets. I was beyond tired, so I just did it. I noticed that my stay was approximately $20 more than what I had booked. Never once during my check in process did the guest host mentioned that this hotel does not honor full or partial refunds. I might’ve reconsidered staying had I known this. In the midst of all of this and my many elevator rides a man kept following me and harassed me repeatedly. It seemed like every time I left my room he was there asking me “are you single”, “do you have a man coming”, “how long before he comes” etc. I have stayed of plenty of hotels, have worked for a hotel and never once have I heard of this but the issue is that I personally changed my own sheets the night prior.
I am having a horrible experience here in Aurora, CO at the Woodspring Suites at 575 Billings St. I have only been here a week. I tried to address a discrepancy in pricing with the front desk representative, but he was very nonchalant about the issue. I reserved on Expedia for a month for $54 per night which is the hotels weekly rate. The hotels monthly rate is $44. So I brought this to their attention and he told me that the prices on Expedia should be in line with the hotel. So I’m thinking I can get a refund for the difference through Expedia. I call Expedia and they contact the hotel. This same guy tells the lady from Expedia something totally different than what he just told me. He told her I couldn’t get the $44 rate because I only booked for 28 days. On the Woodspring website it says a monthly stay is 28 days or more. So Expedia denies my refund because he is telling them lies. I sent the general manager a professional email explaining the issue I’m having, but she didn’t respond. Out of luck I ran into in the lobby and explain the situation she becomes very confrontational I had to remind her that I wasn’t there to cause conflict or any issues, but she was gaslighting me throughout the entire conversation. I stayed professional, but she kept escalating the issue by being condescending. My problem is they have a sign outside that says $44 per night for a month. The website says a month stay is 28 days or more. So why can’t I get the difference of what I’m paying? The General Manager told me to come back when the guy at the front desk is there which was about an hour or two later. When I went back to the front desk I felt she didn’t want to be bothered because of the attitude I received from her. I explained everything again and again. I stayed calm. Another employee jumped in the conversation and at this point I don’t understand why he is coming at me the way he was. Again three people coming at me and the General Manager instructs the guy at the front desk to shut the gate in my face after I had requested the number to corporate. After she’d told me only corporate can make those changes. So why get rowdy with me after you brought corporate up? The staff has been rude and unprofessional with me. I don’t like my stay here. On top of everything else the water isn’t getting hot.
I have had the worst experience at your hotel Woodspring suites west in Naples Fl.
The girl at the reception was so unfriendly, nasty and unprofessional. She was serving a guest who was coughing and NOT wearing a mask at the reception – when I asked her why she allowed this guest not to wear a mask while we all had to wear one, she said that it was because this guest was a guest who stayed a month. I told her it was discriminatory and on the door, at the entrance it was posted to wear a mask and that the rule applies to,all guests. She got nasty and rude. What kind of an unfriendly unprofessional receptionist do you hire at your hotel! Plus the lobby was filthy and the- plexi glass separating the receptionist was dirty and so was the guest bathroom.
