About Wells Fargo Arena
Wells Fargo Arena is an indoor stadium located in Des Moines, Iowa. Opened in the year 2005, the venue regularly hosts basketball, hockey and live concerts. It is currently home to IFL’s Iowa Barnstormers, NBA D-League’s Iowa Energy and AHL’s Iowa Wild. Wells Fargo Arena can easily accommodate up to 17,000 guests. The venue recently underwent a $2.5 million renovation, providing new arena lighting, HD camera equipment and new center-hung Daktronics HD Videoboard.
The multi-purpose arena is located close to the Des Moines River. Parking is available north of the Iowa Events Center. Tickets for events and games can be purchased at the Box Office or through the website using major credit cards.

I have been waiting for a transfer to a live customer service agent on the phone number listed above for over a half hour. I am attempting to speak to an agent regarding provisions for wheelchair use at an upcoming concert event to which I would like to bring my 86 year old mother. She does have a handicap parking permit, but does not own her own wheelchair and most definitely would not be able to navigate all the stairs at the concert. As there is lots of time before this event in June 2020, and the ticket price is very, very high, I am not willing to purchase until I can be assured that wheelchairs are available and handicap access is offered for the event.
