Virginia Railway Express is a commuter rail service in Northern Virginia, US. Beginning operations in 1992, Virginia Railway Express operates 2 lines connecting to 19 stations. Each day, the train transports more than 18,000 commuters, connecting Northern Virginia to Union Station in Washington, D.C.
The Virginia Railway Express’ lines consist of Fredericksburg Line and Manassas Line. The stations include Washington Union Station, L’Enfant, Crystal City, Alexandria Union Station, Franconia Springfield, Lorton, Woodbridge, Rippon, Quantico, Brooke, Leeland, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Backlick Road, Rolling Road, Burke Centre, Manassas Park, Manassas and Broad Run.
