Flight from Melbourne to Sydney was cancelled. The airline didn’t notify. Didn’t refund. The flight attendants on the ground were rude. The worst experience.
Flight from Melb to Perth 9:45pm Sunday nov 4. 2018. Thank you for another uneventful flight. From the very start I was helped with my luggage at booking in by Geraldine, a tiny assistant not much bigger than my suitcase, I also have a slight problem when boarding if I have to use the mobile stairs. On mentioning this I was given the courtesy of boarding long before others, helped with my hand luggage and was seated by James before anyone else boarded the plane. This made my trip a lot less stressful. This is not the first flight and certainly won’t be the last. I’m very happy with the service and highly recommend Tiger Air. Barbara Nelson.
Tiger air is the most unreliable airline there is. Changing flight at the last minute no refund for that so a care in the world . I hope they shut down faster then they came up. Disgusting I would never recommend them ever!!
Hi Please I need to know if my 2 luggages arrived from Melbourne. I travel with my family from Melbourne this morning on the flight number 226, I was told the other flight arrives at 8 o’clock tonight and then my luggages will be delivered to the Novel Hotel in Rooty Hill where I’m staying. No one call to let me know if my luggage arrives or not. Please I need to know whats going on if I can come to the airport to pick up my luggage please..
Thank you.
Nele Siu.
To Whom It May Concern,
I just thought I would write to Tigerair to express my utmost disappointment in the airline and its customer service.
I am fully aware that at times planes are needed to be serviced and thus flights are cancelled causing knock on affects. I am referring to tomorrow’s flight that was scheduled out of Sydney to Gold Coast at 6.40pm (flight TT264).
Being notified that the flight was cancelled, I saw that Tigerair put myself and partner on a flight out at 8.10am on Saturday morning. As Saturday is not an option for us due to a race we competing in (needing to be there on the Friday) we asked to see what could be done to get us on a Virgin flight instead.
Having just spoken to Customer Service, I was told that they do not know what I am talking about and this is not possible saying it can only be a TT flight. Unfortunately for them, I have more than 15 friends on the same flight whom have been reallocated to a Virgin/Tiger flights tomorrow and not Saturday.
Furthermore, having booked the flight on the 9 January 2018, I would have expected ‘better service’ from your airline. I can tell you that my partner and I were the first of our group to confirm this flight with many booking in the last fortnight.
Unfortunately you may have lost a good/loyal customer to poor customer service that was below any airline standards. The way I was spoken to and the lies that were told even after I mentioned some people I know have been pushed to Virgin was horrific.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Many thanks,
Dear sirs, we cannot reach the customer service for change a flight. We booked SFH 98R (Tourville-Sydney) on december 5 next and would like to change this flight into PPP-Sydney on december 11th next, T 397, 12.20 pm. Is there a possibility and what do we have to do? Thank you very much for you reply. Kind regards.
My adult children were to board your airline, flight TT555, at Coolangatta yesterday, 20 June. They were travelling to Melbourne to see their dying grandmother and were five minutes late for boarding as their bus to the airport was late. My mother has a few weeks to live and I request that you refund the $400 for these tickets as my children need to see their grandmother and I hurriedly have to book fares.. If not I will have no option but to take this matter further. This is not an empty threat but a promise.
Please respond ASAP.
Jo Harkins.
