About Swarovski Crystal Worlds
Swarovski Crystal Worlds is a modern art museum located in Wattens, Austria. Also popular as Swarovski Kristallwelten, the museum was opened in the year 1995. At the entrance is an impressive giant with waterfall pouring downward from the mouth. The museum was designed by popular artist Andre Heller to celebrate Swarovski’s 100th anniversary. The popular tourist attraction is set in 7.5 hectares of gardens. Highlights at the garden include the playtower, playground with a number of activities and labyrinth. The many installations and artworks you will find in the garden include Fat Bus, Prologue III, Yes to All, Ford Crystal Blue, Kairos, Crystalline Bars, Bambini, and Eyebright. Swarovski Crystal Worlds is open from 8:30am to 7:30pm. The tourist attraction has welcomed more than 14 million visitors till date.
There are 16 rooms in Swarovski’s Chambers of Wonder. Other highlights include a crystal dome made up of 595 mirrors, a sparkling crystal tree called Silent Light, Crystal Cloud, an installation with over 800,000 crystals, besides many contemporary artworks spread across the museum. Admission to Swarovski Crystal Worlds requires a ticket. Children below five do not need a ticket. The rates vary for adults and children.
