About Sun Life StadiumÂ
Sun Life Stadium was first opened in the year 1987. It is a football stadium located in Miami Gardens, Florida. Formerly named as Joe Robbie Stadium, the venue is home of NFL’s Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes university football team. Sun Life Stadium had a major renovation at a cost of $350 million in the year 2015. Located just 16 miles northwest of downtown Miami, the stadium boasts of a seating capacity of 65,000. For those looking for premium experience, the stadium offers executive suites and club seats.
Tickets can be purchased on the website of Miami Dolphins or Miami Hurricanes. Fans can also visit the Sun Life Stadium Box Office located at the south gate plaza or any Ticketmaster outlets. Ticketmaster members can directly purchase tickets on the website. Ticketmaster also allows members to re-sell their tickets via Account Manager. The Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami have a no-refund policy. Parking gates open 4 hours prior game time. Parking is available for purchase only upon entering the stadium. No parking refunds are issued. There is no direct transportation service available to Sun Life Stadium. Bags, bottles, coolers, cameras (check size), food and firearms are prohibited items.
