Sky Airline is a Chilean airline that began operations in 2001. The airline is the second largest in Chile and operates from its hubs at Comodoro Arturo Merino BenÃtez International Airport and Cerro Moreno International Airport. Sky Airline currently has flights to over 20 destinations. The airline was named the Best Regional airline in South America in 2014 and 2015 by Skytrax World Airline Awards.
Within Chile, Sky Airline connects Arica, Iquique, Calama, Antofagasta, Copiapo, La Serena, Concepcion, Temuco, Valdivia, Puerto Montt, Lima, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Medellin, Bogota, San Andres, Cali, among others. Sky Airline allows passengers to carry a single cabin baggage of max weight 8kg on all flights. As for check-in baggage, it allows passengers 20kg on domestic flights and 32kg on international flights. There was a problem from my flight from Lima to Iquitos. We arrived at the airport well over an hour, we tried to do our check-in and the attendant was purposely delaying the process. After waiting for about 30 min, she made us pay for our bags to check them in. After that, she said they gave away our seats and there was nothing she could do for us. This caused us to lose lots of money on our accommodation in Iquitos. The manager, Pamela Hop, was extremely rude and not helpful and they just dismissed us and our concerns without giving us any explanation or additional help. I have never had an airline experience like this, whether they were basic tickets or not. Would not recommend ever flying them!
Our flight was already at 8pm at night, and then we got a message on my wife’s phone, not even an email or a message to my phone, at 3.40pm in the afternoon when we were already leaving for the airport, that our flight had been delayed by 2hrs!! We are a family with 2 little kids aged 1 and 3, and 8pm was already very late to begin with, but 10pm at night then arriving in Lima after 11pm was just ridiculous… Due to the delay, we needed to catch another taxi into Huanchaco and paid for a place to stay for a few more hours until the flight as we had nowhere to leave our bags, and we weren’t going to sit on the street for 4hrs.
Once we got back to the airport, we had a massive argument with who I assume was the manager, named Giancarlo E. We already had 3 large bags paid for, but only needed to use 2, and recently I had bought a surf board, so I requested that he just puts the surf board through as the 3rd bag considering the massive flight delay and the time of night, that maybe he would be able to show some compassion and accept on behalf of SKY that the surf board could be put through as our 3rd bag at no extra charge. But no… he wouldn’t show any compassion or accept responsibility for the delay, and requested that we pay $50 USD for the surf board, or don’t fly.
Who will reimburse us for the extra 2x taxi rides we had to take to Huanchaco (40 soles in total) and pay for the hotel we stayed in for the few hours while we waited for the flight to arrive (50 Soles). It was an incredibly stressful afternoon/night for us, and if we hadn’t accepted the delayed flight, we would’ve lost much more money on the hotel we had already booked in Lima as well. It’s very upsetting that this happened, and the manager showed absolutely no sympathy or compassion to us considering the circumstances. This was only our second flight with SKY, the first flight I actually gave a 10 star rating as everything ran incredibly smoothly.

I am trying to find an email address for Sky Airlines. I have just logged a dispute with my bank in Australia as my latest statement includes a sizable charge payable to you that I did not make. If you contact me I will send the details of the amount of the transaction dated March 2 and you can track who has used my card and we can advise the authorities. My bank will be in touch (I hope) as well.

I reported to my wells Fargo bank a charge on a booking to my bank account for a trip I never booked. I am waiting for the response from them, I want to know why and how you got my credit card number and charged it to my account.

I tried to contact Sky airlines through your website but never received any response. Due to health issues, I could not continue my travel and informed Sky airlines to cancel all my following flights and also requested for refund. Please do help me or at least get me in touch with appropriate departments.
