Shenzhen Metro is a rapid transit system serving Shenzhen in Guangdong, China. Beginning operations in the year 2004, Shenzhen Metro operates 6 lines connecting to 149 stations. A single day, the metro serves over 4 million commuters. The metro is operated by the Shenzhen Metro Group and MTR Corporation (Shenzhen).
The Shenzhen Metro lines consist of Line 1 (Luohu – Airport East), Line 2 (Chiwan – Xinxiu), Line 3 (Yitian – Shuanglong), Line 4 (Futian Checkpoint – Qinghu), Line 5 (Qianhaiwan – Huangbeiling) and Line 11 (Futian – Bitou).
