About Sanford Stadium
Sanford Stadium was first opened in the year 1929. Located inside the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia, the stadium is named in honor of Dr. Steadman Vincent Sanford, former president of the university. Sanford Stadium has had various expansion projects in the past and currently can accommodate up to 92,000 visitors. The stadium is home to the Georgia Bulldogs (NCAA).
All gates to the stadium open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Wheelchair seating is located in the West End of the stadium. The Athletic Association provides shuttle bus service to and from the Ramsey Center parking deck. For those driving, check the schedule and price of Athletic Association parking lots inside the stadium.
On game days, tickets will be on sale at the East End Ticket Windows. Tickets can be purchased using cash, MasterCard or Visa cards. Tickets can also be bought online on the official website or StubHub, a ticketing platform for fans to buy and sell tickets.
Looking for premium seating? Sanford Stadium’s SkySuite offers luxury seating with a buffet area, private restroom, flat screen TVs, refrigerator, lounge chairs and sofa. There is also the Champions Club, located on the 50 yard line of club level seating. For more affordable seating there is SkyClub. It comes with exterior seating, interior lounge seating and dining tables, private restrooms, 25 flat screen TVs, and a buffet area.
