Aboutย RushCard
RushCard was founded by Russell Simmons in the year 2003. It was created with an aim to help low-income families who cannot afford traditional bank accounts with better financial services. Operated byย UniRush, LLC, the company partners with MetaBank and Visa to empower its members.
RushCard was one of the first prepaid cards to offer Direct Deposit, check-writing capabilities, cash loading at more than 35,000 MoneyGram locations and providing access to money management tools.
Applicants need no credit check or minimum balance to maintain an account. Simply pick a card that fits budget and the same will be dispatched within 5 to 7 working days. There will be a one time card fee when you first load money onto your account.
As for fee, you have an Unlimited Plan and Pay As You Go Plan. Both these plans offer a range of features that include Direct Deposit, third party money transfer, bill pay service, ATM withdrawal and international transactions. Use Direct Deposit to automatically receive your paycheck or government benefits loaded on your account. In addition to that you can also get your tax refund loaded directly.
There will be additional fee for card to card transfer, over the counter withdrawal, ATM balance enquiry, currency conversion and replacement of cards. The types of cards include Midnight RushCard, Carbon RushCard, Gloss RushCard, 24K RushCard, Suede KLS RushCard and Edge RushCard.

Applicants need to provide their Social Security number, date of birth and physical mailing address for approval. After receiving the card, you can activate the same by loading money onto it. You can load money through Direct Deposit, at authorized retail stores, and through cheque using the RushCard mobile app. Major partners and retailers include MoneyGram, CVS, Dollar General, Walmart, K Mart, 7 Eleven and Walgreens. Your RushCard can be used online and in stores where Visa debit cards are accepted. As for withdrawal, you can do same inside a bank branch or at any of the 23,000 MoneyPass ATMs. To access your account online click here. I have a prepaid debit card with Rushcard, Metabank. On February 27th there was a fraudulent charge made through Facebook, my account was hacked and both of my debit cards on file were fraudulent used. I filed a dispute case on March the 7th for $480.00. I was given a provisional credit on March the 19th. Only 7 days later on the 26th Rushcard reversed my provisional credit twice putting my about into the negatives over $900.00. I’ve asked multiple times as to why it was closed, all they keep telling me is no error was found and the investigation is private.In fraud cases the bank must give a reason as to why I lost the case. Also, I only filed one dispute yet they reversed the credit twice and as of April the 3rd they have refused to fix or correct the error from March 26th. I’ve emailed and called multiple times and keep being told 1 to 2 days, the corporate office is looking into the matter and still nothing.
I have a rush card and it expired March of this year and I have money on the card that I can’t get off because it’s expired and I’ve tried calling the numbers and nothing and I’ve sent emails and the reply back to to the website and log in and I’ve tried that to and the email address they have on file I don’t use anymore and I’ve sent them the right email address to contact me and even my phone number so they can call me about my card and they still say go to our website and login to your account and I’ve done that several times for weeks and when I do try to login they want a authentication code and which they send to a email I don’t have anymore so what do I do
I already have an existing account.. I’ve been trying to change my address and other information.. The website will not let me do it. I’m trying to get this information put in the system so that when my card expires in Sep of 2019 I can receive another card automatically
