About Pocket Casts
Pocket Casts is a premium mobile podcasting app for iOS and Android. Developed by Shifty Jelly, the app was chosen as a Google Play Editors Choice and even won a Google Material Design Award. The Android version of the Pocket Casts app will only support devices with Android 4.4 and up. You can download the app from the Google Play store here. As for features, on Pocket Casts you can build a playback queue from your favorite shows, trim silence, change the play speed, increase the volume of voices and play episodes on the move. Users can jump through episodes with custom skip intervals and cast episodes straight to TV using Chromecast. There are over 300,000 unique shows to explore on the platform.
