Established in the year 1997, the company provides a platform for guests to book villas, apartments, mansions, bungalows, yachts, farmhouses and cottages directly from the owners. Villas, cottages and apartments can be searched on the Owners Direct website or smartphone app by destination or property.ย You can filter your search results by bedrooms, property type, location type, activities or amenities such as fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, telephone and internet. The properties provide detailed information of the rooms, facilities, prices and availability. A reservation can be made using credit or debit card.
Owners Direct charges a pre-authorization amount that will be released if the property owner or manager declines the booking request. Some owners might prefer personal cheque, direct bank transfer or PayPal payment. For queries with regard to a property, you can contact the owner directly through mail or phone. If you need to cancel your booking, reach the property owner or manager for the refund. If a payment has been made online, the same will be refunded to the account holder directly within 5 to 7 working days.

We are finding your systems very complicated in relation to commission charges and what we are getting paid out. Whist I am English trying to explain your system to my boss who is Turkish is very complicated. Maybe you can send your system information in Turkish along with your T&C’s so I can give my boss. Other rental websites do this and there commission systems are very simple.
If the system is not simplified for 2019 we have to re consider carrying on with Owners Direct as it is becoming very labour intensive with the pay by booking system. Or maybe we revert to annual subscription a one off payment.

When I went to book the trip, a reduced rate of 74 euros per night was advertised for the stay. However after making the booking I have noted that 127.14 euros has been charged per night.
How did this happen? Could you have a look at this for me?

I made a ‘request to book’ a property under reservation HA073TDC (prop id 8090825) giving my credit card details. I had made a mistake with the location, therefore sent another message immediately to the owner asking for the booking not to go ahead.
Can you ensure a deposit is not taken because I have made the correct booking via owners direct with a different property.
