I booked a flight from Malaga to Puerto Montt in Chile. Latam cancelled my connecting flights from Santiago de Chile to Puerto Montt THREE times and offered no alternatives. I was left stranded and had to travel by bus over 12 hours! I understand Latam are “famous” for overbooking and cancelling flights. Never, ever, ever again would I consider Latam. Passenger beware!!
I am sitting in GRU having travelled half way around the world but no lounge for domestic. Terminal is packed full with Latam planes. What is the plan for business and frequent flyer lounges?
I was supposed to travel with my 3 friends from Santa Marta to Bogota last Thursday (15th August). The flight number LA4435 was at 22:30 and was delayed. At 00:00 a lady arrived telling us that the airport was closed and that the airline was not responsible for the inconveniences. We had to sleep in the airport, with no food and water. I really need someaone to get in touch with me in order to explain how will the compensation work. Thank you
I am an Australian citizen and about 18 months ago I visited South America “SA” for 6 weeks and I used Latam Airlines Peru on a flight from Montevideo to Lima and I was very satisfied with the service. I plan on revisiting SA again in the near future so I would like to clarify a few things and give credit to one of your flight attendants.
1.Is Latam Peru based in Lima affiliated with Latam Airlines the latter I understand is based in Chile. I know that Latam Peru is 49% owned by Latam Airlines so does this mean that both airlines are part of the One World Alliance.
2. I notice that many travellers are quick to criticise airlines and slow to give credit so I would like to acknowledge the efforts of one one of your flight attendants on my flight from Montevideo to Lima. It was Flight LA 2421, on 23 November 2017, departing Montevideo 7.30am and my seat 25J at the back of the aircraft. The passenger seated next to me became quite agitated and slightly aggressive and annoying. He kept on calling for the attention of the flight attendant simply because he had not been served a meal. The flight attendant, Melanie, I do not know her surname handled the situation very well. She told him to calm down, wait his turn and he would be served in due course. If you can track her down please pass on to her for me that I thought she handled the situation very well. Hopefully I can use your airline again when I revisit SA.
It would be good to get feedback on my email.
Thanks
Lachlan McIver
Hi there,
I have been checking for years that you have been using my and my colleague Nicolas Saes artwork images as a way to promote flights to Concepcion.
I have tried to contact you many times via Fb and via telephone but not easy to reach you.
I have seen the use of my sculpture (Remolino del Bio-Bio) by Lan Chile (Latam) many times since was built in year 2000. I would really like to contact your legal team as my solicitor advise me.
If you can email me I can show you the screen shots I got from your website.
Thanks and regards,
Hello,
I have tickets for my 16 year old son to travel from Bogota to Australia with LATAM Airlines in a months time. I want to organise unaccompanied minor assistance to support him with connecting flights and immigration. He is currently in Colombia, and I am in Australia. I cannot get through on the phone numbers listed online. Can you please suggest a contact for me?
I have been to at least 17 airports in the last six months, but my experience with Latam has been by far the worst. Specifically in Peru, I have never seen so many employees sitting around, doing nothing, while people are waiting. People at service desks playing on their phones, laughing and giggling, and doing anything other than assist passengers. When help arrives, it is confusing and contradicted at every turn. You need to develop better management of your customer employees. I will avoid thus airline in the future, and encourage others to do the same.
Dear LATAM Air. I arrived at Sydney International Airport approx 8.20am on Sunday the 11th November as the email you sent re the delay I had not received. Due to this delay I could not connect with our homeward flights from Auckland Domestic Terminal to Whanganui. Reservation code for Julie Wise ATZCZR & my husband Kerry Wise STSTGH. I therefore had to cancel my flights from Auckland to Whanganui and rebook them for Monday the 12th November in the morning. Both my husband and I lost these fares so I had to pay for 2 new fares. Also we had to book accommodation at the Ibis budget Hotel near the airport for the night. I enjoyed travelling with Latam Air and have no complaints. The trip both ways was excellent and the staff were very nice and friendly. However I am now out of pocket due to the unexpected delay and would appreciate if you could send me an email with your letter head re the outcome of the delay. This is the advice I got from my insurance co. Help line. They said I should be covered if the delay etc was due to a fault etc with the aircraft. I have never had this problem before so i have never put in for a travel insurance claim. If the delay is caused by the airline and you have to stay overnight in a hotel, do you know if insurance covers this, or does the airline? I would appreciate a reply at your earliest convenience so I give the information to my travel insurance company. Thank you for your time. With kind regards, Julie Wise
Hi,
I left a bag of clothes on my flight to Lima last night (flight 2121). My flight home to New York is today. Please let me know where I can pick it up today.
Thank you!
On 9/22/2018, we flew with your airline. When we landed in Quito, my husband, Mike Happe, had to be helped off the plane due to breathing problems. A wonderful young man representing your airline came to our rescue, helped us get my husband, Mike Happe settled at Hospital de los Valles, and helped me find a hotel. I would like to thank him, but don’t remember his name. His father has been a mechanic with your company for many years. I will never forget this young man’s kindness.

I MADE THIS BOOKING SOME DAYS AGO.
This morning I checked with my bank and find the credit card payment has not been debited to my Credit card.
They informed me LATAM Airlines have not made the request to them for payment. Please advise

I travelled Lima to Santiago, on flight LA643, seat 3B, on 26 May. After disembarking at Santiago airport, for further travel on flight LA 801 to Sydney, I realised that I had left behind on the plane, a black handbag containing my wallet and cell phone. I was advised to go to the “service desk” who contacted “left luggage”. I was advised that no bag had been handed in. There was little time to do anything further, due to the late arrival of LA643. I am still hoping that Latam can recover my bag and forward it to me in Australia.
