About KakaoTalk
KakaoTalk is a popular instant messaging app developed by Kakao Inc and released in 2010. The instant messenger is available in English, Korean, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Malay, Thai, German, French and Arabic. A verification code cannot be sent to my number. I could not log in so couldn’t connect with an agent for customer service for 3days. Now I am processing ‘Enter the information of Kakao Account’. I reseted my password with other information but the ‘Next’ sign does not go forward for a minutes.
I logged in my Kakao talk after a long time but I can’t seem to open chat or receive chat. I’m directed to pass the talk safety pass but when I try to to relax the restrictions it’s says “Unable to pass the Talk Safety pass”…why is that?
A verification message and code are not being sent and I have been charged everytime for the messages even though they’re not being sent out.
I temporarily changed my Kakao Talk phone number from my US cell phone number to a temporary Korean phone number for 2 weeks. I am back in the U.S. but cannot change my phone number back since I can no longer receive text verification to my temporary Korean prepaid phone number. I have an email address linked to the account, but doesn’t seem to allow me to verify my account that way.
I set up a kakao account in my home country of the u.s. in december 2020 and i later visited korea and got a 4-month phone korea number so i changed the phone number in the account. But i forgot to change back the phone number to my u.s.a number and now kakao has shut me out and refuses to allow me to log in. It will not even send me a verification email to my email address. Isn’t this action a little bit sick?
