Jeju Air, known as Jeju Hanggong, launched operations in 2006. Those looking to avoid the airport ques can now check-in online and print boarding pass. As for baggage, Jeju Air allows passengers to carry one cabin bag with max 10kg weight. We need help with our booking & misinformation about transit to South Korea. We missed our flight because of the misinformed staff. We had accommodation booked in transit area in Korea. We had the understanding we did not need a KETA for transiting as we were to fly out next morning. We have verified with our travel agent that this is correct. Your website does not work & phone number that was given to us by your incompetent staff has been disconnected.
I booked my ticket in May. I transfer from Incheon to Hanoi. But during boarding they didn’t let me in. I was told I have to get a South Korean visa. The problem is that i won’t enter Korea. Transfer through Incheon only. I explained it. But they didn’t understand. In the end i booked another flight ticket with another airline. Then i arrived in Incheon and am told I dont need a visa. I flew to Hanoi safely. I lost my 2,400usd by cancellation fee. Please educate your employees. If they didn’t give me wrong information, I would have flown without hassles.
My daughter and I layover in Korea for 14 hours we want to go shopping but we don’t have a boarding pass yet ( every shop we went to they asked for boarding pass so we can buy ).
I tried to go online to call customer service to ask them some questions but I couldn’t reach them.
Finally I saw the lady from jejuair and she said we can’t get the boarding pass until 2 hours before Boarding.
I asked her where is the customer service center and she said no have in here ”Korea airport” what kind the airline does not have a customer service center in the airport.
So me and my daughter are stuck in side for 14 hours and can’t go shopping because I don’t a boarding pass.
That is the worst service I have ever experienced.
Unbelievable how bad the website is. I bought a ticket (confirmed reservation) from another website, but could never pull up my reservation on the JeJu Air website, and thus could not add luggage. Called Customer service, chose English option, waited 40 min, but no one ever picked up. Tried the Online CS Chat, but the person on the other end seemed to be using machine translation and could never understand my basic problem or need.
Through the years I have always booked my airline tickets online. Never had a problem until I tried to book an online round trip ticket with Jeju Air. All I can say is “Wow” – gotta be the worst website ever.
I booked a flight for three pax since march and cancelled it on april due to the visa problem’.I’ m still waiting for the refund but until now nothing’they used to say at the customer service that it takes a month but sad to say still waiting.
I already called customer service twice but no one is on the service it says everyone was busy’

I am trying to pay for additional baggage allowance online but the website is horrible and does not work correctly so I cannot add the correct amount for each bag. Once I finish selecting the desired weight, it gets deleted. I don’t know how else to fix this issue. I don’t want to wait to get to the airport to pay extra fees. I tried to email the help center but the email was invalid.
Your online booking system is probably the worst I have ever used. I would suggest few things:
1) Get a better website
2) Get clean English content on your website
3) Have a secure payment processing system
I am unable to purchase additional baggage, there is an error that is published in korean that I cannot google translate. Basically no matter how hard I try to upgrade my baggage, it keeps stopping me from logging in.
Have sent email and message by Facebook, no response. Please contact me asap.

The airline website is poorly designed. I tried to make reservation but in the payment page, it started to ask me questions in Korean language. Also, the website force me to use 010 – 019 as a country code of my cell phone. I also have problem to check in online in Hong Kong and I called the airline but no one pick the phone

Very misleading, is must depend on WHAT TYRE OF TICKET PURCHASED !!
Either : Saver fare (allow carry 1 bag max 10kgs, special fare (allow carry 1 bag max 10kg + check in 15 kg), Regular fare (Carry 1 bag max 10kg + check in 20kgs).
Now i found out, your jeju airlines with some many rules !!!
Try to PRE-BOOK baggage allowance, still cant anywhere at all . Mean, once you reach Jeju Airport, then you purchase baggage allowance ?? Very inconvenient for all the passengers..
Very dissappointed with the service. More over, is my first time to seoul / Jeju / Busan.
I called them in at 8am when they start working. I waited for 30 minutes to talk to someone but no answer at all. I sent an email 2 weeks ago and no answer at all. No sure what to do as I need to confirm flights. Anyone could help?

Hi, I have tried calling the customer service and email but there is no response. How can I change the date of my departure flight to a day before? As of now, it is less than 24h from the time I made the booking.
I had to change the name on the ticket as I was not able to put spaces between first and middle names I had left out all middle names for every passenger. Was told I need to amend this and put middles name so i tried contacting through email, received an email that stated the email does not work, tried calling and waited 1hr+ but could not speak with anyone in the end.
Very bad service, I really dont know what to do now except wait for my departure date and speak with the people at the desk

I am having problems purchasing tickets from your system for two reasons. First, your system seems to be tied to Windows and Microsoft Silverlight technology. The Korean government has said that it wants all Korean governments to comply with more open international standards that are not limited to Microsoft. So, do you think you can take care of that?
Secondly your system for taking payment is also tied to some kind of Korean only system, and even modern readers cannot translate that into readable text on a non-Korean system. So I can’t read it at all, not even in Hangeul. The message boxes asking for numbers and information come up in non-sense characters, what the Japanese call Mojibake.
You might find yourself with more customers if you fix those issues. I still get tickets from you but I have to get my friends to do it and then I can use my Korean bank to transfer the money for the tickets to them. It is an unnecessary hassle on both my side and my friend’s side and reflects poorly on your company.
