iQIYI is a popular Chinese video streaming service owned and operated by Nasdaq-listed technology giant Baidu. Founded by Gong Yu, the video on demand service claims to be one of the largest in its domain with more than 480 million active users each month. Available on web, smartphone and tablet, iQIYI claims users spend more than 9.6 bn hours each month watching video content on the platform. You can explore the iQIYI website for some of the popular Asian dramas and films. All the content has Chinese simplified subtitles. While a majority of the content are Chinese, you also will find a massive collection of films and dramas in Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish and English. The titles on the platform can be explored by genre or keyword. Main categories listed include Film, TV Series, Anime, Documentary and Talk Show. On the homepage, you can see the top recommended, trending and popular titles. When you click on a title, the video player will show along with the number of episodes. Horrible app with an even worse customer service. Signing up was a nightmare and suddenly I was being charged for the year subscription. I wrote to them and explain and they said they would refund me. Several days later they wrote that they wouldnt refund to just keep the yearly subscription. Thankfully I have all my payments default to paypal and Paypal resolved it and I got my refund. Stay away from this app. Not worth it.
Hi I just downloaded the app and was looking through the different subscriptions when my phone glitched. The app charged me $84 for the yearly subscription. I did not want to do that as I donโt have that much money and Iโm now negative in my account. Iโm nervous to call the help number because Iโm American and donโt speak the languages.
I canceled my subscription last year uninstalled the app since i am not using it as often but just this year i was charged monthly. I don’t even have the app installed on my phone how come I am being charged for Php99.00 monthly? I tried checking on my phone’s list of subscription but it is not there, I tried clicking the link on my email to redirect me to the site where I can cancel my subscription again but no subscription was found. I already contacted Apple support and unfortunately they were not able to help me because as per the support the charge was coming from the App developer, I tried again in the website login to my account but all I can see is that my subscription expired last year 6/2021 and auto renew feature is not turn on. Can you please assist on how can I stop the monthly charging?
I paid 5 times in last 3 days. I paid 9. 99, 9.99, 9.99, 9.99, 9.62. I would like refund 4 of those times. Keep 9.99 for month subscription. I would like refund. I have no way to contact the iQIY. When I go on iQIY help page everything is chinese. I can’t read it. Let alone file complaint. If possible please help me get refund from them.
