Are you guys crazy offering Carrea $160,000,000. He struck out nearly everytime at bat in the World Series . There’s a thousand guys that could do better . It must be just a publicity thing . I would think you’d be looking to cut or replace him instead of inticing him to stay .
Took my family to Game 2 of the ALCS last week against the Red Sox. As usual, we , as a family, all wear our Yankees suck tee shirts. Had some guy that apparently represents the “organization” tell us that we had to turn our shirts inside out or leave, because our shirts were deemed offensive. SERIOUSLY? Between my 5 tickets, parking, food and gifts we spend almost $1000.00 and he’s telling us to “turn them inside out, buy a shirt from the gift shop, or be asked to leave because this is a family environment” …OK…was anyone else at a playoff game against the yankees 2019? 42 thousand people chanting yankees suck…fans were doing it again tonight in front of A-Rod…were they asked to please stop because its a family environment? How about all the revealing ways some fans dress…butt cheeks hanging out of the shorts…tight…TIGHT and small tank tops where the…well endowed…show more than enough for the imagination…gimme a break…i’ve wore that shirt at Minute Maid several times…and all of a sudden it’s so offensive i’m asked to turn it inside out or leave? Embarrassing to be honest…that same schmuck that told us to turn our shirts inside out stood there and watched 2 people vaping…cloud of vape smoke towering over our seats…nothing…didn’t say a word…if there is a rule regarding offensive language on clothing…then stop people at the gate…not 2 hours into the game, while ignoring what is truly offensive, sexually suggestive, drunks, vapers and the folks that drank so much, they decide to pee in the garbage can or sink because the lines are too long…Go Sawx!
Julia commented about how loud and obnoxious fans are toward our Astros. We can tell you it’s brutal. We always attend Stros games in Seattle, but this year will be our last. Full cans of beer thrown at Astros fans, the intimidation and general bad behavior makes it nearly impossible to enjoy the game. Hoping that the future will change, don’t know. So glad that Minute Maid fans continue to treat visiting fans with respect even though it’s not returned. Be careful Julia.
