I recently booked a hostel for 2 in My Room 252 in Dehradun, India. Booking reference ID is 285422-415087635. When my friend went to the property, they told that the place has closed down. She is a single lady and travelling all the way to the property to find that it doesn’t actually exist, is very unprofessional on your part. The number given with the booking is also bogus. This is the 2nd time this has happened with me, and this seriously undermines the credibility of Hostel world. Every booking website has some sort of method to connect with its booking partners, and it seems that Hostelworld has none. The bookings are still going on for that property.
I want a refund of my booking amount, a rectification of such errors on your part so that other travellers don’t have to suffer like that, and an apology for the inconvenience caused to us. I hope that Hostelworld is proud enough to admit and rectify these issues.
Hello to whom can help me! I have been really looking for someone to talk to about my host! He was inappropriate with me and sending me odd messages! I was unable to stay at the hostel due to my host hitting on me and making me feel unsafe. I was still charged and I do not agree if my live was in danger to be charged!!! Someone needs to help me asap, please!
Please allow filtering on age restriction. I am in my 50’s and find it extremely difficult to find a hostel. Sometime l have booked and only realise that there is a age limit on the confirmation as soon as l have booked.
