I just wish to register my complaint over deduction of money from my account in Uganda and records show that money was wired to Hampton Inn this week yet i have not been to Canada of recent and i have not slept at any Hampton facility. We are actually staying at the Hampton inn Daniel Island sc right now. Yesterday my sisters entire wallet was taken out of her suitcase in our locked room. We spoke with the manager who didn’t have much to say until we had her call the police to file a report. We still have yet to hear that Hampton will do anything about this theft. The only one that used a key to get in was housekeeping even though they prop the door open when cleaning. I should add that the rooms have no safes. We have been staying here for years but will reconsider ever staying again unless something is done about this
I stayed At the Hampton in Homestead FL. And let me tell it was the worst experience I have ever had. In the morning I was getting ready for work and realized after I left for work that I forgot my $4,000.00 wedding ring on the bathroom counter. I immediately called the front desk and asked the guy working to please go get it and lock it up in the safe. He responded and said “oh man for sure don’t worry about it I will go get it right now”. After I got back to the hotel following a long day at work I asked the front desk for my ring, the lady said this “Oh we put a lock on your door so no one could get in your room” I said thanks and proceeded to my room only to find my ring was gone. I instantly went and got the general manager (Jenny) and to her surprise my room was clean and my ring was gone (go figure). The GM called the individual that said he put a lock on my door only to find out he didn’t. He also stated he was never in my room. The GM had the maintenance team run a lock check on my door only to find out that the guy that said he never entered my room was in my room within 5min of me calling. To my surprise this individual was at work the next day and continues to be employed by Hampton inn. My frustration starts with the management team they have never contacted me about this unless I call them first. My company sends hundreds of employees to this hotel yearly to stay for weeks at a time costings thousand’s if not hundreds of thousands a year. I will be working diligently with my company and taking our business elsewhere. This just blows my mind that this management team does not seem to care. I bet they will care when they see the number of people that won’t be staying at this place anymore. And if you are wondering I work in the Nuclear industry so that means all outage support for refuel outages will seek other hotel chains.
Disappointed in Pelham hotel.
This hotel is not up to par as the other Hampton’s. We booked 2 nights 4/27 & 28.
The hotel itself looks like it was remodeled but not to the standards we love about Hampton. Gardendale, AL has it spot on.
The room was just okay looking. Spots of Mold in the shower. Lots of dust on the wrought iron mirror. Toilet paper & tissues were like sand paper. The biggest disappointment was the bedding!!! I am saving money to buy the entire Hampton bedding but not after this stay. Thoroughly disappointed!!! I can not emphasis this enough. The sheets were not their magnificent level of quality. The pillows were flat as pancakes too. The bed was a horrid thing to sleep on. I did not get a decent nights sleep (2 actually). My hips and shoulders ached no matter what position I moved too. The breakfast was horrible too. All carbs. No fresh fruit except for thick skinned apples from last year. The hot water container also pumped debris into my cup-I bring my own tea so it was not tea. The container definitely needed cleaning. Again, not up to par as the other Hampton’s. The rates were higher than other places too. $300 for 2 nights. We were there for a funeral so stayed instead of checking into another place. Just very disappointed in this hotel. Some of the hotel staff didn’t say word to us when we walked by either. Again, unusual. The reservation was under John Acton.
