About Hamburg U-Bahn

The U-Bahn operates 4 lines connecting to 91 stations. Annually, it transports more than 220 million commuters. Hamburg U-Bahn is operated by Hamburger Hochbahn. It begins at 5am and ends at midnight 12am.

The 4 lines consist of U1 (Norderstedt Mitte – Jungfernstieg – Hauptbahnhof Süd – Ohlstedt / Großhansdorf), U2 (Niendorf Nord – Jungfernstieg – Hauptbahnhof Nord – Mümmelmannsberg), U3 (Barmbek – Circle – Barmbek – Wandsbek-Gartenstadt) and U4 (HafenCity Universität – Jungfernstieg – Hauptbahnhof Nord – Billstedt).

Tickets can be purchased at manned stations or through vending machines.
