About Gatwick Express
Gatwick Express is a rail express link between Gatwick Airport and London Victoria. The company, founded in 1984, was formerly a division of the British Rail. The non-stop express shuttle train was privatized in 1996 and today is part of the Govia Thameslink Railway. The list of stations on the Gatwick Express route include Bognor Regis, Brighton, Ore, Eastbourne, Southampton Central, and Gatwick Airport. On the website, you can get information on live departures and arrivals from any station.

There are a number of offers and discounts you can avail for your journey. Register for newsletter to get offers or discounts available for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased through the ticket vending machine or online on the website. On the search tool, you can input the dates, origin/destination and proceed to booking via Visa or MasterCard. By registering for an account online, you can check your booking history, view balance, claim delay repay and claim refunds. E-tickets will be sent by email within 24 hours of booking. The e-tickets can be only be used at stations or platforms with barcode readers. There are different ticket types and also an array of railcards that help you save on regular fares. Under railcards, you have Family & Friends Railcard, Senior Railcard, Disabled Persons Railcard, 16-25 Railcard, 26-30 Railcard and 16-17 Saver. If looking for regular tickets, you have Anytime Return (tickets valid for a calendar month), Off Peak tickets (reduced fare for travel at less busy times of day) and GroupSave (for group of 3-9 adults). Upgrade to First Class tickets for ultimate comfort.

For those unaware, if your train was cancelled or delayed by 15 minutes you can request for compensation. Refunds are also offered for unused tickets. Refunds are only given on Anytime and Off Peak tickets. You will need to request for refund within 28 days after date on your ticket. To claim your refund, you can login to your account online and navigate to Orders & Refunds. All refunds are paid in the original mode of payment.
