I connected from Dubai to Dar es Salaam with my family on the 4th September 2020. It was an overnight flight, no blankets, the food was AWFUL. The staff were very rude as they were taking advantage of them hiding behind the face coverings. It is a very difficult situation nowadays to get proper customer service as customers are unable to identify the staff. It is a shame that such kind of things are going on and customers are left helpless and humiliated. We are left unable to complain to ensure the service improves.
Hi there,
I had a flight for Kathmandu to Dubai and Dubai to New York operated my Emirates via FLYDUBAI. Very Disappointed with FLYDUBAI. i had a wheelchair booked prior to my flight and when i reached to the airport in Kathmandu they denied me to give a wheelchair. Secondly my flight was delayed so i have to wait for almost 16hours in Airport, no any guidance to the hotel. We have to find on our owns and had to request so many time for it. Crazy Crazy flight with FLYDUBAI will never ever fly with them and won’t recommend to fly with them.
Fly Dubai – For the first and last time! (15 July on FZ-797)
Dear Sir
I am writing to you in regards to my family trip to Romania on 15 July FZ-797. It was the worst experience of my life. We received the most unprofessional customer service service.
I fly often for work. About 5 -10 times a year. I mainly use Emirates/British Airways/Egyptair.
On this occasion I took my family( my son who is 6 and my husband) to visit Romania and obviously flying to Bucharest from Dubai doesn’t give to many options.
We have boarded our flight on the 15 July and we were kept in the airbus for 45 minutes with no air conditioning in an extreme heat. Few customers(including myself) we asked the crew to ask the captain to give us some air. We were told that it was hot outside and once in the air it will be ok. We were sweating and the kids on board were crying it was a sauna. We have raised the issue again as we were late leaving and I personally was rudely told by one of the crew team(a man), “next time fly Emirates”. I was shocked by the crew response. In fact we would never had to be in this situation with Emirates Airline because their staff are way more professional and have respect for customers who are paying the airline and it was not a charity gesture from you to fly as over.
After 40 minutes delay waiting in inhuman heat temperature there were no apology and the kids on the flight were not even offered a cup of water. We had to wait hours before we were able to buy some drinks. The food we ordered when we booked the tickets seem to be ok however because of the stress your crew put us through we didn’t enjoy it and ended up in the bin.
We also had to take our own rubbish back to the plane to put it in the rubbish bin. And twice when I took the rubbish the two girls from the crew and one man were sitting there talking about XIMIVOGUE cosmetic products and how cheap they were and where you can purchase it in Dubai. Most of the customers on the flight were taking their rubbish by themselves as the crew couldn’t care less about any of us.
I did not feel safe on this flight at all. I did not feel welcomed, and If you offer to fly me for free I will never ever fly with this company again.
My British husband is appalled to the way FLY Dubai operates. Unfortunately we will have to fly back to Dubai on the 24 of July and my child is terrorised by the idea. I am trying to see if we can buy new tickets with a different airline but sadly so far there are no other direct flights. For the future we we be flying back home to Britain have few night there and fly to Romania from London with a decent airline.
This flight was operated in partnership with Emirates. I will be emailing Emirates Airline as well as I think they need to be aware how their reputation is stained by Fly Dubai members staff.
For myself and my family this was the most traumatised experience in our life. No respect for customers, did not feel safe, unprofessional staff, cramped seats.
I have no hopes that anything will change in the future but I wish you will retrain your staff and you will teach them at least basic manners and how to respect people.
Thank you
Hello,
I am very disappointed with our journey to Bucharest (Romania) from Dubai (UAE). Our flight was supposed to start at 10:30 am (UAE Time) but surprisingly without any prior notice and after we were standing in the cue of the boarding gate for 30 mins, they postponed the flight for 2 hours. The plane departed Dubai around 13:00 pm.
The worse part came in the plane as well, since it didn’t have our selected seats ( we booked leg space first seats 6A, 6B for 200 AED extra), we sat in the middle. Also, we have paid for the entertainment (70 AED for 2 seats), but the plane didn’t have any entertainment.
The total loss we have is 270 AED + the 2 and a half hours waiting. The problem is not only the money but the bad customer service: no one apologized for the incident, no one called or emailed us + we had a really bad experience on board with one of the flight attendants who was an Arabic speaker ( her name starts with D).
I request the amount (270 aed) to be reimbursed and a compensation for the inconvenience.
Awaiting your urgent feedback on this matter.
Issam

I travelled with my husband and daughter on 28/12/2016 from Kuwait to Dubai our flight was booked to take off at 10:35 but did not take off until past 12 in the afternoon. No announcements made until post check in at airport.
I pre paid for our inflight entertainment but the steward refused to turn it on u too post 17% of flight done. My seat the inflight entertainment did not work and the steward kept saying will reset and did nothing.
I pre paid for our meals they served three quarters of the passengers before coming back to bring our food despite them passing our seats and our requesting from steward 3 times to bring our food. Their response yours takes time. It was ridiculous.
The worst flight experience ever and customer service ever.
This is in regard to my recent flight from Tbilisi to Mumbai via Dubai. I had received a luggage token from Tbilisi to Dubai (instead of Tbilisi to Mumbai). On inquiry at the Tbilisi airport I was told that the luggage token is valid only till Dubai and I would have to get a new luggage token at Dubai, hence, they would transfer my luggage from one flight to the other at Dubai airport.
As you can see by the above mentioned, that my flight from Tbilisi to Dubai got delayed (1 hour 20 mins delay, due to no fault of mine but of the airline), and I missed my connecting flight from Dubai to Mumbai. I reached terminal 1 at 21:40, however, the boarding for my Jet airways flight had closed by then. There was no help from the fly dubai customer care counter. No one bothered to help me with another booking to complete my journey. Also, they did not take any responsibility of my luggage. After a long 1.5 hour discussion with the Jet Airways customer care counter, I had to book my own ticket from Dubai to Mumbai, which costed me 20,044/- INR.
Since, my newly booked flight was of 16:10 the next day (7th Dec 2016) I had to spend almost 15 hours on the Dubai airport terminal 1. I had to go through a lot of trouble with the entire situation and my travel time from Tbilisi to Mumbai increased exponentially. Being a senior citizen, I am sure you would understand the mental and physical trauma I had to go through as I was left stranded in a foreign land. Customer service should be of utmost importance in domains such as airlines, especially when international travels are concerned. However, I did not see any empathy from the airline in my tenure of helplessness. My family back in Mumbai was so tensed about my whereabouts, about how I would be able to reach back home safely with my health and luggage intact.
I am highly disappointed with Fly Dubai and I would want full compensation of the trouble I went through, including my tickets from Dubai from Mumbai.
I have attached all possible documents with this mail for your reference. In case any other details are required, please revert.
I wish to get a suiting reply from Fly Dubai at the earliest.
