About Police of Finland
The Police of Finland is the chief law enforcement agency in Finland. In Finnish, the agency is called Poliisi. It is responsible to the Ministry of the Interior and currently is formed of two national police units and 11 local police departments. Poliisi operates from its base at Helsinki, Finland. The National Police Board guides the police operations. All the police departments report to the National Police Board. As for the two national police units, they comprise of National Bureau of Investigation and Police University College.
