I’ve paid 200 euros to loose 5000 euros worth of work gear and they refuse to return any emails for the insurance I’ve paid for.
I find it shameful that an international service is not able to speak English, French, Spanish or Dutch! I will never find my package, that’s for sure. And especially that this service makes NO effort to try to understand the request.

I sent the parcel for my friend in Hamburg more than a month ago , it should have been a preset for the new year! It hasn’t reached him yet and where is my parcel now, god knows!!!
Their service is really bad. Most of the time they don’t send the packages to the address and in this case you should go to their office and bring them yourself. They don’t even leave a note for that. I don’t recommend this post.
I sent a parcel ( a present for a new baby) to Germany on 19.3.21, and paid extra for “end to end” tracking. The item left the UK within 4 days, but since then the comment on the Deutsche Post system has shown has been “Non-EU item – preliminary import check”.
That is 5 weeks sitting somewhere awaiting a check! None of the requests made on Deutsche Post’s system to gain an explanation have brought about a reply, and there is no email address to be found which would allow a follow up query.
This level of service is disgraceful, and Deutsche Post make it impossible to find out what is going on by sending you round in circles. Absolutely useless as an organisation!
I too had a letter collected by Royal Mail on 30/10/2021 for delivery in Germany and as at 17.35 10/11/2021 I am getting the same message; “Non-EU item – preliminary import check”. I have tried filling out an investigation form as advised by a Deutsche Post representative on TrustPilot, but I do not expect anything to come of it. I am just staggered at the complete and utter useless of Deutsche Post. It is like throwing mail way expecting them to handle it. I did not realise that Germany had a postal service worse than any developing country. Or is it simply that I was sending my letter from the UK post-Brexit.
Totally unusable service. Absolutely impossible to get in touch via email. Remember, not everybody that need to contact you live in Germany or or even speak german.
I have a package that was sent on November 2, 2020, tracking number shows in Frankfurt November 3, 2020. It is still there today, November 30, 2020, how can I find out why it is just sitting? Is it still there, as not missing or stolen? I need an email to contact, I CANNOT make international calls. Thank you.
According to your website, Warenpost and Päckchen products are no longer available for shipment to the USA until further notice. When will this restriction be lifted? I don’t want to send via Premium service. I want the normal postage rate restored.
I had a parcel (a fountain pen) purchased from Germany in May 2019 and then returned as it is (box unopened). I have lost the tracking of the parcel and I’m unable to contact Deutsche post by any means. Have registered the same complaint twice on their website with no reply whatsoever! My refund of about 300 Euro is pending with the seller. Really disappointed with the service.
I have had endless problems with this postal service, I am highly disappointed especially because every department in Germany is so GDPR conscious that one of my letters with all my personal information has apparently been sitting in Düsseldolf (according to the tracker), since 30th April 2019, and it is registered mail. The Second registered mail parcel was sent to South Africa 29th April 2019, I have only received status, it arrived in South Africa on the 13th May 2019, to this date it has not been delivered.
I would like to have a contact number or person that will be able to tell me where exactly my letter and parcel is.

Sent a medium postal box from USA to Neuss, Germany. Everything went as usual until it got to Krefeld, Germany facility. For unknown reasons, the package will be returned to USA. The package has a child’s birthday gift for goodness sake.
There is always a concern of theft in the German postal system. Our previous experiences included a grandfather’s letter with 20€ (birthday gift) never arrived and other small packages have been opened for no reason or explanation.
If you are sending a package from outside of Germany, please do not send it. I do NOT trust German postal service.
Hi, I am from Greece (Athens), at December 19 2018 I order a product from Gearbest (cellphone). Estimated delivery date according DHL was at January 17-21 2019. Still I have not receive it yet. DHL (Greece) send me a confirmation (email) that my parcel is lost at January 28 2019, they told me that they will inform Deutsche Post to start investigation and they asked me to inform the sender (Gearbest), which I did the same day (01-28-2019). Till now me and the investigation team of Gearbest, we have any news from Deutsche Post. My parcel number is CY140963760DE. What can I do? I can’t find a way to communicate (email address) with Deutsche Post.
A letter form Germany posted early December to reach uk by christmas. Weighing under 19 grammes and fuifilling all the size parameters for the 90 cents I paid. At that point there was a contractual obligation for Duetsche Post to deliver the goods or services (delivery service) to the address on the envelope. I went on holiday, three weeks later i came home . The letter was in my letter box with a large yellow sticker saying i should pay another 2.80 euros ! I went to Deutsche post in Talheim. The letter fitted through the size template. The letter weighed under 20 grammes. The Deutsch post worker refused to give me my money back for the failure to deliver the service i paid for. She could not give me a new replacement 90 cent stamp. In fact now that it had the yellow sticker on it, had i wanted to resend the four week old Chrsitmas card she would have to charge me 2.80 euros because that was what the sticker ‘told her to do’.
I have kept the card as evidence.
1 Deutsch Post sold me a 90 cent service and then failed on their contractual obligation.
2 The demand of 2.80 euros represents more than a 300% Price increase AFTER contract.
I intend to take this further.

I have been going round and round through Deutsche Post website trying to find a email contact with Deutsche Post (DHL)! I wish to make a complaint too!!
I made a purchase with Zatchels from England, and they have just post my goods to Taiwan by Deutsche Post recently. However, I just checked tracking detials, and realised that Deutsche Post has put the destination as “Taiwan, China” instead of “Taiwan”. Its very frustrating, althought politically China has been claiming Taiwan as part of China, but it is a common sense that Taiwan is an independent country, we have our own ID, passport, government, president which China has no right to step into. I do not want my goods to deliver to China! Can somebody help if they know the customer service email?!
