About Cubana
Cubana is the national airline of Cuba, founded in 1930. The airline, officially operating as Cubana de Aviacion S.A., operates from its hub at Jose Marti International Airport. It has a fleet size of 14 aircraft connecting to 20 destinations. The Havana-based airline has codeshare agreements with Aeroflot, Avianca, Neos, and Air Caraibes. It’s network of destinations include Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, France, Haiti, Mexico, Spain and Venezuela. Within Cuba, it connects to Cayo Largo, Cienfuegos, Guantanamo, Nueva Gerona, Santa Clara, Santiago de Cuba and Varadero.

Fliers can see the schedule and flight status on Cubana’s website. You can also search flights by inputting origin, destination and choosing the departure date. To view reservation, simply input the reference number and you can view or download the ticket. Tickets can also be purchased online using major debit/credit cards. As for baggage, note that on most international flights, Economy class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of checked bag with 23kg weight each. The baggage restrictions vary according to route. The details are available on the website. Besides checked baggage, fliers can carry one hand baggage with weight not exceeding 5kg.
