Absolutely the worst experience dealing with a home warranty company. I contacted them on Oct 2 for my refrigerator not cooling. I have had 3 different repair companies in my home and all have said compressor is dead. Replace the appliance due to age. They just reassigned it again. They will not give me a number of someone in a supervisory role. I have been spoken to harshly and unprofessional from a โfloor leadโ. She lied and basically told me to F off. I have decided I will not give up. I pay for a service and they are not providing the service.
I’ve had Choice Home Warranty for about 11 years now. It took a while for me to use the service because my appliances were new. Whenever I needed to use the service, it was excellent. The technicians were top of the line and the claims were handled quickly. I had no problems or complaints. Recently, from 2021 to 2022, the quality of service have dropped tremendously. I just renewed my contract but is now second guessing if I should have done that. It appears that the technicians performs a temporary fix long enough to get a new service call fee. It’s difficult to speak with a live representative and the website is not the best or user Friendly. I’m hoping that CHW will get back to the way they were in the beginning. If not, another customer gone!
I allegedly took out a 6 yr home warranty plan with Choice Warranty-I have never heard anything from the company since and truly have no evidence that I actually have a policy-allegedly my policy # is4568181832-I paid over $3000 for this coverage and have nothing to prove it except an email from “Choice Home Warranty Sales Group” with a telephone number of 888-275-2980. I have had home warranties in the past and they always sent out the policy to me immediately and I believe I paid monthly rather than a lump sum-so the lack of contact is beginning to be suspicious.
Hello this is the worst service that Iโve ever had I put in two claims one for a refrigerator one for the AC the AC guy came didnโt even come on inside and said that I had to rewire the whole house itโs 86ยฐ in this house he never did anything. The second claim was for my refrigerator they came out June 17 and said they canโt come back out to July 6 everything in my refrigerator went bad and these people will not help me with none of these claims. I called three times to speak to a supervisor nobody can pass me to a supervisor I will never renew my account with you guys again.
Probably the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. The company is set up to deny claims – in my opinion dishonestly. I have 5 contracts with them and have made 9 claims and only 2 were handled satisfactorily. I have had one claim pending with them since December (it’s now May 21) for a dryer issue. The claim has been assigned to 6 different repair companies. Many have failed to call or set up an appointment so it gets “reassigned”. I have also had a refrigerator door hinge pin bushing fail due to wear and tear and it was reported as such by their technician. Nevertheless, they claim the tenant damaged the fridge. I have pictures, there is no damage to the outside of the fridge. They are set up to deny your claim. If you don’t “notify” them you disagree with them within 7 days of a denied claim you are prohibited from arguing about it (despite the fact they have taken a month to send a tech out). Communicating with them is a disaster. Some emails can’t be returned. Phone extensions go to the wrong person. Customer service people are not allowed to get a supervisor involved. Roadblocks to your claim are everywhere. I need to also mention that their techs are horrible especially in Richmond VA where I live (my other claims have been in Northern Va and DC).
I paid in full for my home warranty $480.00. You could not repair my refrigerator. Vender you sent would not wear a mask in covid and could not repair my refrigerator after 6 attempts. I called your customer service talked to Josh Jackson. My account was cancelled with my permission and no refund issued. Iโm out $480 plus the deductible I paid for no repair and I have no home warranty. I paid in full for my home warranty $480.00. You could not repair my refrigerator.
