About Bpost
Bpost is a postal service provider based in Brussels, Belgium. Also known as Belgian Post, the company was founded in 1992 and is partly owned by the Belgian state government. Bpost offers mail, courier, logistics and banking services to individuals and business organisations. To book a parcel or package, you can visit any nearest Bpost branch. There are close to 660 postal offices across Belgium. You can locate one nearest to you by inputting the postal code or city on the website. When there, you can also calculate the cost of your shipment by destination and weight. Additionally, track and trace the status of the package through the reference number or barcode.

With services now going digital, Bpost has adapted allowing people to book a parcel at the comfort of their home. Avoid the hassles of going to a location to send your shipment by preparing your parcel through the website or smartphone app. The shipping label can be downloaded and printed online. While letter box parcels cannot exceed weight of 1kg, the standard delivery option allows you to ship item with weight of up to 30kg. The deliveries are done to the specified address within the next business day. If the package contains item of value, then insure the same by paying a small fee. For simple letters and cards, choose the registered mail option that is affordable and fast. It is available for addresses within Belgium or abroad.

Customers can choose to have item collected from a pick-up-point or have it delivered directly to an address. If parcels are not collected within 14 days, the same is returned to the sender. Another option is to find a parcel locker where you can receive and even send parcels. Locate a locker in your neighborhood online. Once your parcel is available, you will receive an email with QR code.

For sending parcels abroad as well you can choose do it yourself at home or visit the postal branch. The Economy service is the lowest and is perfect for items weighing up to 2kg. The Standard and Express delivery options allow shipments with weight of up to 30kg. For locations outside the EU, you might be required to furnish custom documents. Note that all packages come with a standard guarantee of up to €500 (for large parcels).
