Azul Brazilian Airlines is a Brazilian airline that began operations in the year 2008. With its main hubs at Campinas-Viracopos, Belo Horizonte-Confins and Rio de Janeiro-Santos Dumont, the airline flies to over 190 destinations within Brazil. In 2014 alone, Azul served some 21 million passengers. It currently has a modern fleet of close to 140 aircrafts. Also, the airline for the fourth time in a row was named the best low cost carrier in Latin America in 2014.
With a large network of cities served, in 2012, Azul and Trip announced their merger to become the third largest airline. Together they operate over 800 daily flights. The important cities served include Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Belo Horizonte, Fortaleza, Brazilia, Recife, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Manaus, Belem, among others. With partner airlines, you can also fly to destinations in US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Africa and Asia.
The booking of a ticket can be done directly on the Azul website through debit/credit card or at any nearest partner store. Fliers can simply login on the website to modify or make changes to the booking. If you dint know, you can also check-in on the website, in addition to doing the same at the airport counter. Flight status and schedule can be further accessed on the website. As for baggage, for international flights, Azul allows up to 32kg checked baggage. A carry on bag of 5 kg is also allowed. Additional bags can be carried by meeting the baggage charges. If you are a member of the frequent flier programme ‘TudoAzul’, you might enjoy some of the benefits, that include baggage, meal and others. Under TudoAzul, there is TudoAzul Plus and Sapphire. Both the programs offer benefits of their own.
As for refreshment, fliers enjoy snacks and drinks for free. Further, the advanced in-flight entertainment promises live TV with 48 channels or more. Azul boasts of being the first airline in Latin America to offer live TV during a flight. For more information, feedback or complaints on online booking, refund/cancellation, frequent flier program, special requests or baggage concerns, reach the Azul customer service via phone or email.
I have a problem communicating with Azul Airlines. I purchased and cancelled my flight Code WEVZQG on March 19th.
Azul Airlines evidently is trying to send a refund to my credit card but the charge was refused. The card is good. I received E Mail from AZul telling me to resubmit my claim on their Website. HOWEVER,I am unable to open my account on your website. Forgot my password and whenI request new password the site will not allow me to continue even though I have given my CPF number. How do I do a request for my refund?
All websites I have used to know what baggage allowance or check in baggage cost for domestic flights are out of date. There is no easy access to a fundamental right as a traveller booking a flight with Azul to know what baggage cost will incur.
This is also unavailable on the main website for booking flights from Azul.
As Azul has recently withdrawn check in baggage allowance on its domestic flights from 1st June 2017
I am appalled at how difficult it is to find out what charge I will incur for my flight from Ilheus to Salvador a 47 minute journey with one check in baggage of 23 kilos.
Very very bad, probably considered as fraudulent in some customers mind.
Be aware of this when considering booking via Azul
Hello. I will be traveling on Azul Brazilian Airlines for a wedding celebration for myself and future husband. We will be leaving from Orlando in January/2018 and will be flying business class. I’m wondering if there is an area on board for my wedding dress and my future husband’s wedding attire? Thank you in advance of this special day to be able to get our wedding attire in a safe place.
I live in Canada and I’m wondering if Azul Airlines will ever come to Toronto making flights Toronto Rio or Toronto são Paulo I like this airlines and here in Canada only Air Canada makes that route
can you tell me an email address where i can write to this f***ing airline. I found one on their website but got no response despite writing to complain twice.
Please can somebody reply to me – this is the second email I have sent. I have tried to book a flight from Tabatinga to Manaus on the 11th January on multiple occasions now but each time the payment has failed. I have tried debit card, credit card and paypal but nothing has worked. I need to get this sorted as soon as possible. If it helps trace my attempts then my name is Liam Ansell and the other passenger name is Hannah Davies.
Please can someone advise how to resolve this matter?
Thanks
Liam
