I have cancelled countless subscriptions from Amazon because they keep renewing my subscriptions even though I have requested for them to not be. I don’t know how they were able to take the money from my account for the last 2 months because my bank card that is on file has now expired? The last time I cancelled a subscription was in December and somehow it’s been started again the last 2 months. No one has access to my accounts other than me. Something needs to be done to protect consumers because Amazon seem to just get away with it because they make it near impossible to be able to contact them.
I have tried to connect Amazon Australia many times but couldn’t connect with any one.I wanted to discuss about my mistaken online order but seems there is no one to help me out. Really frustrated by poor service.
Two weeks after receiving an email to say our order has been shipped, we went back into the order on Amazons website and found the order had been damaged. They had no way of replacing it but do not bother to advise us. We should have waited forever. Contacted Customer Services and got a refund. A month later a similar thing happened only this time it simply said the items were “Late and a refund could be requested”. Got another refund. I guess the lesson is you need to continually monitor your orders as they can’t be bothered to advise you of hold ups.
I was charged for a free month prescription. And im livid I’ve tried numerous ways to contact Amazon Australia to find out why? I’ve tried all avenues and impossible to contact.
Seems to be so common getting locked out of your account so you can’t actually use their streaming service or cancel the subscription. They will just continually take money and nothing you can do about it except cancel the credit card used or at least put a hold on it if possible. I really hope people thinking of signing up read these comments so they don’t make the same mistake.
I am having similar problems the charged me $6.99 on the 7/7 21 and I cancelled my membership in order to avoid a further payment .On 7/8 /21 I have been charged again $6.99 Is there any way I can get the money refunded
I get calls almost daily by Amazon prime demanding $39.90 for an alleged membership or subscription- which I’ve never had.
Today’s call from Amazon prime, I asked if they can give me address where goods bought under my name are sent to…the caller hung up.
This is an every day event with these people they put your account on hold and it is almost impossible to contact them back even when they answer you with an email it goes no where Amazon is virtually impossible to work with . I have an unfulfilled order and cant contact them what a joke
I managed to get Amazon customer service to contact me.
here are the steps I took
1. Click on three horizontal bars in the top left corner, a list pops out from the left corner, and down at the bottom is a link called ‘Customer Service’. Click this link.
2. Next Page says ‘What can we help you with?
Down the bottom is a link that says ‘Need More help?’. click this link and select ‘Contact Us’
3. Down at the bottom of this page are some buttons, Probably ‘Chat’ and ‘Phone’
4.I chose phone because it had a wait time of less than a minute, but at other time i have seen it say 24 hours. Click on phone and put in a phone number. initially I tried a landline number but that didn’t work very well so I used my Mobile number.
5. Almost immediately I received a call from a Private number on my mobile number which was Amazon Customer Support.

This worked for me also. I chose Chat. Apparently they have made a commitment to contact me within 24 hours to resolve my logon issue (I moved countries. Do not discontinue your old phone number before completing a transfer of all your accounts!)
I have a prime account that is under an phone number and my account has been locked because i used my partners card (not my name on the card). I have been trying many times to have that card removed from my account, cancel any outstanding order and have my account unlocked back to my normal payment method. I have given my email address for accounts to contact me with several times but all they do is send a message in the app to send the credit card that locked my account to a foreign fax number or log into my account and use the upload center.
The card isn’t in my name and I want it removed. It is a debit card and doesn’t show the card number on the statement either.
I can not log in on a web site as my account is locked, therefor can not upload even a message.
No one from accounts has contacted me on the email address.
Worse still. I have paid 12 months of service on Prime and can not watch Prime movies that I have paid for in advance.
When I try to log in online Amazon gives me notifications that my account is locked and will send a txt on how i can unlock or log in, but i never receive.
Now if i can’t receive a service I have paid for in advance i’m fairly sure that is a breach of consumer law.
All i want is my account unlocked, or be able to speak to someone who can assist me with unlocking my account so i can continue using services and purchasing goods on Amazon.
If my account can not be unlocked I want a refund for my prime services. and my account completely removed so i can start a new account of which i will never add a new card to other than my own.
We cancelled our market place account and receive confirmation Jan 22nd
My account has still seen the monthly fee deducted. In Feb, March and April.
I am unable to call or talk to anyone.
The help service requires me to log in but I no longer have an account.
Now I received an email saying there has been an order that we “at risk of cancellation for non shipment “
We are unable to access any information on the buyer
Because we don’t have an account.
This is now being escalated to our bank and we will take it to consumer protection authority if it is not satisfactorily resolved and our money refunded within the next 7 days.
The phone number 1902257899 rings out. I can’t get through to Amazon. I want to know if I can gift an e-book on Amazon Australia. You can’t contact them by email.

I unintentionally ordered 2 of these when I only wanted one. The instructions on Amazon website to cancell an order after 30 minutes since ordering was to contact supplier and gave directions how to do so. I followed instructions and supplier has come back and said it is Amazon who must cancel order – going in circles. Please cancel this order as I have another unit on order 503-5965541-458664.
