   Dear Firefly leadership,

   As a recent Firefly traveler who had major problems with your holiday booking system, it’s my duty to let you know that the combined flight and hotel booking through Firefly (and your partner « GoQuo ») has a major glitch in the reservation site (https://www.fireflyz.com.my) that has costed us, and potentially more travelers with their travel plans. Your company’s reservation website has been poorly set up and needs redesigned to clear up confusion in bookings.

   The issue is that on your booking website, when you make a flight booking, your hotel booking DOES NOT automatically match your flight date. You have to manually update your hotel dates. However the FireFly’s system does not alert you of this, nor have a link available for you to modify your hotel reservation.

   This is wrong for travelers, who are being misled when making their reservations.

   For us unfortunate travelers, this meant being informed at our hotel that our booking was different than planned. Ultimately, we had to pay hundreds of additional US Dollars to cover nights we thought Firefly had covered in Langkawi this past weekend.

   We alert Firefly leadership to this big problem on your reservations website and call on Firefly to correct the glitch and ensure people are made aware.

   I bought a air ticket on 29th Sep 2016 and i realize that i selected the wrong date and i would like to change the date,can i check what is the procedure and the charge.

   Hi,
   I have booked and made payment for 6 people for flight from Subang to Penang. I did not make any seat selection. Is it mandatory to make seat selection? Without seat selection are we still able to board the said plane as long as I my itinerary indicates Reservation status as confirmed?

   I have written you a long email with advertising attachments about the “false advertising” of prices from Koh Samui to Subang. As stated Samui Gazette advertised a price your price ofTHB 2180 one way(all inclusive) from Samui to Subang on 25Jan12 and again on8Feb12 when infact your “promo” finished on22Jan12. When the Gazette was questioned their reply was they had a “contract with firefly” and it was firefly’s responsibility to update advertisments and if they did not they ran with the same ad’s, expired or not.

   on your booking site there is a promo from subang to samui from now till 27 nov.2011 traveling from 5 dec till 31 march2012 for 208myr, but when i make a booking for 30 jan 2012 till 27feb 2012
   the price is 1805myr for 2 people

   Change of Airport For Departure to Langkawi
   I would like to inform you that we receive no nems to date with regard to putting us on Mas flight to Langkawi on the 5th of Dec 2011. I would like to inform you that I have a very important engagement in Langkawi which we do not want to miss and I insist that we depart fom KLIA! Had I known that this change of airport would occur I would have bought my ticket from AirAsia(ex-LCCT). I should not be inconvienced through no fault of mine,so to speak.

   On the 23 Sept, I booked seat selection and paid for it. MYR20 was deducted from my account. For some reason, on the 11 Oct, I have been charged another MYR20 by Firefly. Can you please check your records and let me know why I have been charged twice for seat selection???

   When going into Manage My Booking, The page only shows details of my previous travel. I cannot see the detail of my new booking. Please reply asap as I need to carry out new booking.

    I have emailed couple of times to customer_care@fireflyz.net.my but until now no reply.
    The query is pertaining your Voucher Department e-mail that informed that your company will not operate JHB-Kota Kinabalu-JHB route from September 15 onwards. However your “Complimentary Voucher” is valid for travel until 20th October 2011.
    Therefore can I request for the Air Ticket KUL-Kota Kinabalu-KUL? If able to approve my requirement, 2 or 4 of my friends is joining too.
    Your attention & cooperation to the above is highly appreciated.

    I will be taking Firefly while coming back from Kuala Terengganu on 12 June, I just want to double confirm whether Firefly allow passenger to use photocopy of birth certificate instead of original copy?
