I have a flight on china airlines from Koror to Taipei arriving at 2205 Hours. I am connecting on Emirates to Dubai at 2345 Hours. Will I be able to check my bags straight through from Koror to Dubai as I have 1 hour 40 minutes transit time which is not enough to clear baggage and check in again in Taipei?
I frequently fly China Airlines to Bangkok most recently (as we speak) for my wedding. Flight from San Francisco was delayed due to weather. Expressed the dire necessity to get to Bangkok as soon as possible. Arrived in Taipei to be instructed to stand in line for a transfer counter for 3 hours. As the departure time drew near, the one the agent assured me I would be on I broke out of line and asked if I should be concerned. Accurate information is all I required as I was prepared to book through another carrier but was assured that it wouldn’t be necessary. That agent promptly sent me to another transfer desk to be greeted by yet another line of a hundred or more. Desperate at this point I again cornered an agent and told them what was going on. Conveniently my promised flight had already closed the doors but they assured me that I would be on a flight by 3 AM. So here I sit, starving and thirsty as there is nothing open unless you want a Versace purse or some Johnny Walker. Care to wager if China Airlines will ever see me on another one of their flights?

Dear Sir/Madam,
I will be flying from London Heathrow to Auckland (NZ) on 27th November, 2011 and returning in March 2012.
I would like to take a bicycle with me in a bag.
I am travelling Economy.
Can the bicycle be part of my 20kg check-in luggage free allowance ?
How many bags can I have as the 20kg luggage allowance ? For example, can I take the bicycle and another bag as check-in luggage, as long as it is under 20kg ?
Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
Kind regards,
George Jones
what is the weight of your bicycle? you will need to check that first..if it is..then call the customer care and ask if that is permitted..
