I’ve made a hotel booking yesterday (25-08-2012)& recevied a booking reference number. 20722991, but till now I’ve not yet recieved the hotel voucher in my email. It said it will sent within 30 mins but till now nothing in my inbox..Please send again.

I too have been trying to reach Agoda for a voucher for my hotel. Agreed that they are quick to take your payment, but never reply, can’t login the site to print a voucher because one was never originally sent to you. No number to call, very, very disappointed and will not use this service again. Very frustrating and stressful before leaving on a trip. I sure hope all goes well with the hotel, but will never use Agoda again, and not refer it to anyone.
I made a booking for thailand. Never received voucher. The money has been debited from my credit card. There is no-one to talk to . This is very bad customer service. I will not be using Agoda ever again. Cant get through to anyone and no-one seems to care.

The telephone number they advertised is incorrect. (I wonder why they do that?…) they do misleading advertising as they slash a fake price of a hotel room and make you believe you are getting a great price for 2 nights for example. When you go to pay (with the credit cards details etc) it is still a big red number, there that you think you are paying but it is not, they charge you per night.

Yes, agree. This company has very bad customer service and no after sales service. I will NOT be using them anymore. Take note all and be aware.
We booked a hotel in Istanbul over 48 hours ago. The money has been deducted from our account, but as yet no voucher confirming our booking has been sent. I have tried to contact Agoda’s help line, but they require a booking number (which would come with the emailed voucher). NO OPTION is provided to talk to a person without said number. I have also tried alternative contact number for Agoda staff members directly – after a few minutes of music, the line goes dead. This is VERY POOR customer service. At the moment we do not know whether we have a booking at the hotel or not. And Agoda is not reachable to help.
I booked a hotel in Phuket on February 22, 2012 & then received a booking confirmation from Agoda (ID # 15564529). I cancelled the booking on March 18, 2012 & received an email confirmation from Agoda regarding the cancellation. But till now the money has not been refund yet to my card, it’s been more than 1.5 month. Pls help settle this.
I am trying to book a room at Country Garden Resort Guangzhou. After choosing the room, I am taken to the next steps – Personal details and credit card details. The window where one is to put the credit card to be used is graded out, as is the expiry date. What can I do? Your site is not working.
Try to book Flamingo Hotel in Penang and keep telling me it is a duplicate copy. At first, I try to pay by PayPal without much success and the second time I try to pay by Visa. Can you please cancelled this booking so that I could re-try again….many thanks

I was hoping to book a hotel room at around 12:20am, 26 March HKT for my coming trip to Chongqing, China on 4 April. Unfortunately during the booking I entered payment detail and clicked proceed without entering the arrival date. When I realized it was all too late. I phoned your call centre, only to be told that no amendment was possible because booking was for tonight. After a long discussion they asked me to wait for their email – I waited for 9 hours till now, no email has come yet.
Frankly I am very disappointed at your service and your website. First thing, there is no reminder asking people to enter date and it is set to be current date by default. That is very unreasonable and very user unfriendly. People get charged without being reminded or even noticed! This is no difference from cheating.
Secondly, the rule that ‘no amendment should be made within 3 days prior to arrival’ itself should be amended. What if there is exceptional case like this one, in which people booked the wrong date because of the mistake in website design?
Third, the call centre promised me he would check with the hotel and reply my email. I waited for 9 hours but there is no reply at all. I could have made another call and talked to someone else or I could have taken other actions – but time has been wasted in useless waiting.
I hope that you could do something in this case. I think Agoda is an international booking portal and you would also hope your website and service more user-friendly. But most importantly, I don’t think the booking is valid, and I hope you investigate in this case and return my un-noticed and un-consumed booking.

When customer lands in a problem your customer care just irritate them by not providing solution.
I dont understand once you take payment from us why dont you book hotel for us.

I have made a booking by agoda .com my booking ID no is 15787900 dated march 3rd 2012.
We have paid $ 150.12 via credit card, booking was confirmed and receipt was sent to me.
When I reached to hotel on 19th march I was shocked to see that your company has not made any booking.
I was trying your customer care many times but did not got any solution. I was compelled to stay with lower category room
by paying hefty amount $300.
Now you suggest me what to do, will you take up the matter with top management to resolve the issue. And please make sure
this kind of incidents dont happen with any customer at night, really I suffered a lot.
I have made a reservation in Mรถvenpick dubai ibnbattuta gate for 4 nights and charged to my credit card. A confirmation was sent to my email on a promise of sending the hotel voucher within 1 hour. Now, it has been 4 days since i made the reservation and no voucher sent. I contact the hotel and they said no reservation under my name was sent by Agoda. I urgently need to know the status of my reservation and the authorization made to my credit card. The booking number i got after i made the reservation is 352446101. The customer services says that the booking number is not correct and i could not talk to the agent to give them credit card number Agoda has made authorization on.
It is my first time i made a booking via Agoda and i am really having a very bad experience as it has been 4 day trying to talk to customer support agent and failed because the booking number given to me is not correct and no voucher was sent to me.
the customer service put the customer waiting on the IVR for along time with no answer and can’t leave a message for the customer service cuz the messaging system is full. i don’t really know what kind of customer services is this. my booking is lost in your system and no answer from anybody on phone and email. my credit card was charged and can’t cancel the authorization so i can make another booking. i have never experienced such situation with any of the other online reservation company. it is my first time i do a booking on AGODA and totally failed.

I reserved for a room but later i change my mind so I amend my booking and Agoda had sent me a reply that my booking has been changed to my request. The thing is when I check my credit card they already charged me on my first transaction!!! I have been trying to contact agoda on their tel no but no answer.

Same thing happened to me, too. I called the hotel twice, first time on the date I paid through Agoda, second time today. Still no booking under my name. Agoda’s contact number is unreachable. My bank says they don’t have the authority to cancel the charge to my credit card. I am mad as hell.
Booked hotel in Jomtien..30th Dec. for 4 nights. Hotel was over booked. Gave alternative hotel 1st night then could offer nothing. Phoned Agoda 5 times, with no sucess in gaining refund.

complaint: i have booked 2 Deluxe rooms at Thara Phatong Beach Resort and Spa for 4days from 20/1/2012 to 23/1/2012. My reservation had been confirmed and the payment was made accordingly. The comfirmed booking ref. no is 11472318. But unfortunately when i and my family wanted to check in the Thara Phatong on the scheduled date, we were told that the hotel is fully booked and we had been transfered to a lower grade hotel (small 3star hotel adjacent to Thara Phatong).
We feel that we had been treated unfairly on this and thus we demand for reimbursement accordingly. For note, this is my first holiday with my kids to Phuket and this incident had made them very unhappy especially with the enviroment of the 3star hotel that we are staying…

I have booked a hotel in Bangkok for 15 Days. Now with all the flooding and danger of water borne sickness I enquired whether my booking could be transfered to a hotel in Hau Hin. I am told I would not get a refund and the booking could not be transfered.
I am informed that the booking was made on a no cancellatin basis. I was not even aware that this existed as this is the first time I am using an Agoda Hotel and an online site to make the booking. Also surely these are really special circumstances?
It is more than dissapointing to me to have this type of rigid response when the circumstances are by every definition exceptional.
When booking the Miami International Hotel through Agoda, the booking confirmation indicates that all taxes are included however, the hotel continues to charge taxes on top of the quoted amount when paying for the hotel. Please let me know if that is supposed to happen.
