A brand owned by the BT (British Telecom) Group, EE (Everything Everywhere) is Britain’s well-known telecommunication service provider, offering both mobile and internet services across the United Kingdom. The company is also the second largest network provider in the country, with a total subscriber count of 26.1 million as of 2021. Formed in 2010 as a joint venture between France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom, the company first launched its 4G network in 2012. Then later in 2016, the company was acquired by the BT Group.

So, if you are someone who has been using the mobile/internet services of EE and have been thoroughly dissatisfied, then it makes sense to cancel or deactivate your current EE number. The dissatisfaction can stem from several reasons – be it poor coverage or poor customer support or lack of good offers. Whatever might be the case, you can be rest assured that our below-mentioned steps will help you to seamlessly cancel your EE number and thereby move to a different mobile carrier.

But, before you decide to terminate or deactivate your EE number, do note if the termination takes place before the end of your minimum term, then a cancellation charge will be applicable (also known as the Remaining Contract Charge). Furthermore, if you are looking to take your mobile number with you to a different carrier, then EE allows you to request a PAC or Porting Authorisation Code free of charge. The PAC can be obtained by calling 150 from your EE phone, texting PAC to 65075, calling 07953 966 250 from any other phone or by requesting online here.

However, if you are not willing to take your number with you and want to directly cancel or deactivate your EE number, then proceed to follow the subsequent methods.
