Dear ACER team,
I dropped my 4 weeks old notebook for repair. Firstly I was told that it will take 7 days. After seven days I called and I was told it is going to take 4 more weeks. After challenging that I was told it will take 2 weeks.
After asking why it does not get replaced with a new one I was told that this kind of service (replacement) is not offered.
After asking for a temporary replacement I was told that this kind of service is not offered.
Well, I would not consider this as a customer service.
Having in mind that the Chromebook is new (4 weeks old), this kind of behaviour is unacceptable.
Complaint against ACER repair service (MTMK900329)
I bought an All-in-one ACER Computer 2 years ago. About 1 year ago, the computer was found defective and your technician came to fix it! In the mid of Jan 2019, the computer was found defective again, as the warranty period was still valid, I took it to your repair center in Mongkok, after initial checking, the outsourced repair center told me that the monitor of the computer was beyond repair. As your company was without parts for the model of the computer, the contractor told me that your company would gave me a display computer as replacement!
Now almost 2 months have past, yet there is still no replacement made to me! I had called your company more than 5 times, yet every time I was told by your staff that they had no concrete date on when the replacement could be made!
I am now lodging a complaint towards your company’s repair department. I now demand your company to give me a written reply and a concrete date on which the replacement will be made.

My laptop is with the customer service center since last 5 weeks now. After 4 weeks of follow-ups I had no updates and just 2 days ago when I pressed for an update – I was asked if I can accept a MUCH INFERIOR LAPTOP as a replacement. This is quite unacceptable. My laptop is the premium “Acer Nitro Black Edition” and I have spent significant amount of money for the same.
Laptop is under warranty period and I expect Acer to either provide replacement with the same model or a better model; it is quite disappointing to see a recommendation from Acer for me to take a cheaper laptop in exchange. I have always wanted a better experience and that’s the reason I chose to buy the expensive Black edition laptop.
I hope you will address this situation at the earliest.
Its already been 5 weeks and I am without a laptop and this is impacting my work significantly. I would expect better treatment for a ACER customer buying the top end models.
I am sorry to see all the negative feedback above. We brought our notebook to repair centre yesterday. a staff at the counter was very friendly and efficient. He explained to us all the procedures clearly. I followed what the staff advised me regarding the payment and how to claim the expenses later on. Today, Acer called me(and a text message) in the late afternoon that the computer has been fixed and could collect before 7:30pm. I called the service centre to make an enquiry, they were very polite and informative. I am very impressed with their excellent service!
Acer customer service are a fucking joke…
1. Gave me the wrong address- wasting a lot of my time!
2. Slow as hell when they were registering my issue
3. Forgot to notify me when my computer was ready for collection.
4. Refused to accept a photo for the original repair form when it was being collected. What the fuck do they need the original for?! lol
5. Horrendous telephone manners!
Do yourself a favor and buy something else. From start to finish my Acre experience has been extremely frustrating.
Hi, I live in Macau and on 16/08/2011, during the computer fair I had bought Acer 7552G in Hong Kong Cyber-pro computer Ltd( Shum Shui Po). When questioned about service, they said that Acer service is available worldwide. Actually my computer is having hard disk problem and i bring to Macau service provider for repair. They say acer service is worldwide but just for Macau bought products. Macau bought products can be repaired in Hong Kong or Mainland China but Hong Kong bought products have to be brought back for repair!. EXCELLENT SERVICE. WORLDWIDE MEANS-LOCAL SERVICE. A reminder for Macau Citizens not to take risk buying Acer product outside MACAU.
i have a new 24″ monitor but i can’t register the product online at http://www.registration.acer.com. It keeps on saying that the s/n i entered is incorrect. I have tried inputting s/n and snid but was a failure.
