The Sau Paulo Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) or simply known as the Guarulhos International Airport is the primary airport serving the city of Sau Paulo, Brazil. Located 25 kms northeast of Downtown Sau Paulo, it is the second-busiest airport in Latin America, ranked after the Mexico City International Airport.
The Guarulhos International Airport was established in 1985 and acts as a main hub for Latam Brasil, Gol Airlines and Azul Brazilian Airlines. What are the Available Parking Options
The Guarulhos International Airport offers four types of parking, namely: Standard, Flex, Premium and Economy. Standard parking spaces are available in Terminals 1 and 2, while Flex parking spaces are only available in Terminal 3. Both offer low-cost parking options with open spaces, and travellers can use them for both short-term and long-term stays (up to a maximum of 30 days). Additionally, there are reserved spaces for pregnant, elderly and handicapped passengers. Prices range from 26 to 715 Brazilian Reals.
Alternatively, the Premium parking spaces can be found inside Terminals 2 and 3, and they offer better convenience and comfort for parking your vehicle. These parking spaces are covered, making the arrival or departure process more seamless. However, do note that if you want a valet parking service, then the same can be obtained only at Terminal 3. Prices range from 32 to 1090 Brazilian Reals plus taxes. Lastly, there is the Economy Parking Lot, which can be accessed from Terminal 3. These parking spaces provide the cheapest pricing, starting from 20 Brazilian Reals up to 220 Brazilian Reals.
How to Book Parking Online

- To start the booking process, proceed to click on the official website here. On the landing page of the website, you will be greeted with several parking options to choose from. Essentially, you have to select the terminal inside which you will be parking your vehicle.
- Once you have selected the terminal, you need to fill in your entry and exit dates and times, along with any promotional codes. After that, click on “Search Offers,” and the confirmation button should appear at the bottom of the web page.
- Click on “Select,” and on the subsequent page, you have to fill in your details. These include your name, residential address, email address, vehicle licence plate, etc. Additionally, you will also have the option to either register an account or proceed with a guest account. Once done, click on “Next.”
- On the next page, you have to fill in your payment details. Please note that payment for your booking can only be made by credit card. Once you have filled in your payment details, proceed to the next web page, where the online system will show a summary of your order.
- After you complete your online payment transaction, a confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address. The confirmation email will contain a QR code. On the day of your travel, you will have to bring that QR code, in printed form, with you and showcase it at the entrance. After that, you will be able to park your vehicle in the reserved space.
What You Should Know of Cancellations
If you want to cancel your booked parking space at the Guarulhos International Airport, then you have to do so at least 24 hours before the start of your reservation. To cancel your reservation, you can either click on the “Cancel” option present on the confirmation email that you received after a successful booking.
You can also send a mail to [email protected] with your full name, proof of purchase, and CPF. No fees will be charged when a booking is cancelled within the above-mentioned time limits, and the refund will be credited to the payment source that was used for making the reservation.
