Alternatively known as High-Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Lanes, the Express Lanes are open to solo drivers who own an Express Pass. The Express Pass can be used to travel through the Express Lanes without having to stop at a toll booth, ultimately avoiding traffic congestion en route to your destination.

Whether you are commuting to work, going on vacation, or passing through the state, the Utah Express Pass system eases the hindrance and makes your day-to-day travel much more seamless. With options such as easy registration and payment, the Utah Express Pass simplifies your journey with no extra cost per transaction. Plus, by reducing waiting time at toll booths and queuing up of vehicles, you will be able to enjoy safe, speedy, and efficient passage through toll roads all over the State of Utah.

Apart from that, do note that an Express Pass will cost you $9.65 plus taxes and shipping. On your first registration for the Utah Express Pass, you will be charged a total of $35, which will include $10 for the registration and the remaining $25 as your account balance for paying tolls. Plus, an additional maintenance charge of $2.50 will be charged every month, which will be reduced based on the amount of tolls paid in the previous month.
