Pre-Register
Start with pre-registering yourself on the official website. A webpage displaying the terms and conditions will appear. Make sure to read it thoroughly before proceeding any further. Start by entering your name, employment status and contact information. You will be prompted to answer some 30-40 questions, about your personal life, your employment history, legal history to make a thorough background. Answer whatever question is asked and click submit. The entire form is going to take a good hour or two. At the end of filing the application form, you have to upload specified media, including a recent digital photograph of yours, three obligatory pictures of your food which can go up to seven, and a 1-3 minute video displaying your skills in the kitchen. The video is mandatory and should be relevant to the format, addressing things like who you are and what cooking means to you.
Things to know
You can fill the form at once, or keep some part of it for later. Now download and fill out the prompted application form along with the registration number assigned to you. Fill in all the details and take a completed application along with your signature dish to the selected open call location that you have previously chosen. The open call location does not have a kitchen, so you will be asked to get an already prepared ready-to-serve dish. Audition days are usually long. There is going to be a lot of standing and waiting. You will have a place to keep your dish, but you have to bring utensils, including spoons, plates, knives, etc. People who are selected for call-backs are told so during their auditions or shortly after. Call-backs are scheduled within one to three days after the open call. If you do not get a chance to pre-register from the website, you can still attend one of the open calls and bring the dish.
