Business-class passengers can fly with a baggage allowance of 35 kgs, and the infants in the same class can travel with luggage weighing 10 kgs. If you are traveling first class, the allowance goes up to 40 kgs for an adult and 10 kgs for an infant. All the Air India passengers are allowed one piece of hand baggage weighing a maximum of 8 kgs. The bag should not exceed the specific dimensions of 22 inches height, 14 inches length, and 10 inches width.
Air Vistara
Vistara offers flexibility in the free baggage allowance, depending upon the class you are traveling in, and the package you opt for. Economy class passengers can opt for lite/Value, standard, and flexi packages and carry the baggage of 15 kgs, 15 kgs, and 20 kgs, respectively. The premium economy passengers are allowed a baggage allowance of 20 kgs in lite/value package, 25 kgs in the standard, and 30 kgs in flexi. Business-class passengers can carry 30 kgs in lite/value, 35 kgs in standard, and 40 kgs in flexi packages. Besides this, the passenger can carry hand baggage weighing a maximum of 7 kgs if traveling economy class, 10 kgs in case of premium class, and 12 kgs if traveling business, as of August 2020.
Indigo
Indigo has a hand baggage allowance of 7 kgs. The dimensions of the hand baggage should be 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm. All the domestic sector passengers can carry luggage weighing a maximum of 20 kgs. One bag is allowed for one person. If the weight exceeds the free baggage allowance, you will have to pay extra.
GoAir
GoAir allows the passengers to carry hand baggage weighing no more than 7 kgs. The dimensions of the hand baggage should not exceed 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm. Every passenger of the GoAir flight is allowed a baggage allowance of 20 kgs, which should not exceed 158 cm in the overall dimensions. SpiceJet
SpiceJet has changed its baggage policy recently. All the passengers are allowed one check-in baggage, which should not exceed 20 kgs. Additionally, the baggage should not exceed 32 kgs in any case as per the airport baggage restriction policy. The hand baggage should weigh a maximum of 7 kgs, without exceeding the 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm dimensions.
